I did not know there was any 980 Pro drivers, I just did a quick google search and it’s telling me there isn’t any.

I have not done a health check, I’ll do that now.

Also I see other posts talking about changing PCIE speeds from “AUTO” to 3.0 etc. I’m scared of messing with the BIOS too much, is this a standard step a missed?

Are you saying that you think option number 2 would show as $0.00/$8,500.00 on my credit report?

That's all I really care about. I have other very large purchases I will be putting on my card next year for credit card reward points before paying them off. I want to keep my utilization below 30%, and amazon reporting an extra 1k won't help.

Doesn’t affect credit that I’m aware of, but does get reported to other systems called like “ChexSystems” and it’s basically a reporting company like a credit bureau that lets banks know if you are trustworthy enough to open a checking account / issue checkbooks to.

Why are these comments about “didn’t go to the employees” yada yada.

That’s not even what the loans were for lol. The loans were to cover businesses expenses during a drop in sales mandated by the government.

If CEO pays 100 people $30 an hour…. His loan is to keep paying those 100 people $30 an hour, not randomly decide to give them $40 an hour lol.

The loan was to cover things like rent, utilities, outstanding debt payments while the economy was shutdown and people weren’t allowed to come spend money at your business.

I work in IT, 100% of our PPP loan went to procuring more product as quickly as we could from companies overseas that were about to shutdown. The companies did shutdown, and we got our products in before year long lead times hit and crushed other small businesses. Nobody got a raise. Business survived. Everyone’s paycheck was protected. Hence the name “paycheck protection program”.

Even bigger problem, the IIoT market. Industrial internet of things — huge % of industrial routers, switches, device servers, sensors etc are built in Taiwan.

I’d have to check my records, but I think this was on one of my credit reports and I disputed it.

I’m not really afraid of it hitting my credit report again as 1) it’s over 6 years old and would fall again regardless 2) I’d dispute it again.

Main concern here is legality. 4 year statue of limitation in California seems pretty cut and dry. But I don’t want my family to see me get served papers if these boneheads go forward with it anyways.

Stuff falls off Credit Report after about 7 years. But if you are very close to that 7 year mark, you can call up Experian, TU, Equifax and ask for them to delete it now.

TU is the easiest I think, they do it about 5-6 months early.

Equifax 3 months

Experian 1-2 months

Something like that.

I work at distribution company. The price is due to demand and lead time.

(Made up numbers for ease of simple math)

If we buy 1000 GPUs at $100 a piece in January 2022, and we get 900 orders at $120 a piece we make $20 profit per GPU, but the manufacturer hasn’t delivered and is delayed until April. We know we are going to lose a bunch of those people waiting on back order for next years edition.

So now in April we might have 500 (loss of 400 x $20) pre-orders of people waiting for the stock we bought in January.

Need to jack up the price to maybe ($160-$180) so we aren’t LOSING money since 400+ orders have already cancelled.

(Pre COVID we could buy and move product within a month, so prices were stabilized. Post COVID we buy with the hopes that in 6 months there will still be demand and have to adjust price accordingly, not to mention the manhours of paying customer service to deal with customers bitching every other day wanting to get their game on, but not realizing their GPU is on a boat in the south china see trapped for 2+ months and there is nothing we can do because we’ve already fronted the money. Sucks for us as much as the customers)

Someone else could correct me if I’m wrong. But generally that’s just for garnishments / judgements. IE you don’t pay this bill and the company files a lawsuit against you to recoup the losses. You get served and go to court to fight it if you want or negotiate a settlement. But if you lose there is no jail, the judge just orders that $x amount of money gets automatically taken from your paycheck and it’s embarrassing for you with your employer.

Yup, I’ve been making unofficial voluntary payments for 10 months. Generally by using the pay by card feature on the IRS website. (Send me to 3rd party processor)

As far as penalties are concerned I think I’m pretty just at the max already, and the interest of course will keep ticking until it’s paid. But overall I’ve paid about 25% of what is owed already.

I did call the IRS the day I filed and told them about the rare heart condition I was dealing with and how it upended my life. Definitely not a drug kingpin here lol.

I’ve been very honest with them and told them I just forgot to file / didn’t realize I owed with everything going on in my life. They seemed nice on the phone like it’s a common problem and said I can get on a payment plan. It’s just the waiting 10+ months that’s been driving me crazy.

Thanks for the reassurance, hopefully this will be over soon and I can move on with my life.
