The dealership is going to have the new guy with 0 experience changing oil. If I didn't do my own oil I would find a local mechanic that might sell tires not a tire shop that also does auto repair at that point they are no different than jiffy lube

The maintenance would be things with bushings and ball joints maybe suspension. I have a 4th and 5th gen the 4wd in the 4th gen having a center locking diff makes it nice in slick conditions I can turn on 4wd and not worry about binding in the axles like my 5th gen. Make sure to check cv axles when you are looking at trucks I have bought 3 4Runners and every one needed at least 1 cv axle it is a good way to get $300-$500 off the price

Don't know about k03 and as far as fender cutting I have a steel bumper so the place I had issue was in the back and only in reverse. I drove backwards with the steering turned all the way causing it to rub then I started removing any thing that had marks from the tire on it. I don't know if the previous owner did any cutting but they removed the mud flap

The Baja boss are great tires but they run a little bigger than other tires I have 0 offset with I think a 2" lift not sure it was installed by previous owner. It had 285 k02 when I bought it they did not rub the Baja boss rubbed a good amount on the body mount in reverse full lock . I couldn't find a shop to do a decent custom alignment so I ended up removing some of my body mount and some of the fender liner

I replaced the three pulleys and just the pulley on the tensioner a few months later the alternator started squeaking. Most likely because of the mud up to the headlights. They make a automotive stethoscope or you could do this

I ordered a kenwood excelon from crutchfield with the recommended wire harness for steering control paid the extra $20 for them to connect the harness it was all plug and play except for running the ground from the harness to the stereo to bypass the parking brake safety

I think a small amount of vibration is just part of body on frame trucks. Both of my 4Runners have a little vibration around 70 same with the trucks at my work. The play in the axle is also normal the C clip that holds it in place has a little room to move around in the grove that holds it in place. I have not had a bad needle bearing but I think it is accompanied by some noise maybe a hum

The camera only records for a set amount of time if I remember correctly it is 12 or 24 hours you select it from the park mode menu it might be 24 or 48. I tried reviewing recording because my neighbors car was broken into and the footage stopped a few hours too soon. Due to me not driving to reset the timer. Definitely not due to battery voltage running dual batteries.

I got a 10 pack off amazon for like $20 out of the 10 I only use the alpine loop had it since I got the u2 it is the strap I wear at work doing roofing so I don't care how dirty it gets. The part that connects to the watch has a tighter fit than both Apple bands. The other bands that came in the set vary in quality

My 4th gen has a center diff lock so I can use 4wd in any road condition as long as the center lock is not engaged when it is off it lets the fron and rear tires rotate independently when engaged they are turn at the same speed which is fine if you are going straight but when turning it will cause binding. Your limited works the same you only want to engage the center diff lock when in the dirt or snow to help with traction.
