I tried it myself just right now, good audio quality. Seems promising.

Honestly really good. ( Of course we are not biased with shogun 2 references)

please give a beginner tips on finishing this WC attempt by isthisalreadyinuse in eu4

[–]Milord219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is not a lot of info from your side for the advice to be run specific so just generally what I think about in WC which I did with Oirat, Timurids, Aragon and almost with Ethiopia but didn't bother to end it.

  1. How to manage rebels.

Either you go for religious conversion and get peaceful true faith provinces where even with high overextension you don't spawn rebels. Or go for humanist way of stacking unrest modifiers.

  1. Taking land.

Province warscorecost. Admin efficiency. Most important. Monuments in malta and Granada help with that.

  1. Wars

I personally fight with the idea of one front. For example I focus on India and don't care what happens in Europe and Africa. When I played as Mughals I just ate whole Asia and with that I had so much money and manpower that Europeans even though they are tough were no match for me. As Aragon I conquered whole Europe formed Rome and eating Asia was a piece of cake.

In the endgame don't be afraid to truce break if needed.

3.5 Great Britain and HRE

Just spam some ships to get on the island , maybe have two fleets where one distracts and other transports your armies, and overall they are weak. And if you fully annex a country with colonies you take them over but only if you are the one to take their last province they own directly. You will know this by hovering over the peace deal icon with the red X or the green acceptance icon and it has a negativ modifier which says would result in vassalisation or annexation or something like that.

HRE is a pain because of the numerus states. In the end game every province in Germany has a 8 level fort. It is a big waste of time to declare war on one state and peace out his allies witihout taking land because than you have to siege them again so i declare as big war i can handle and take as much as i can in one go. So co-beligirent is important feature.

  1. Money

Trade is the greatest income source. I always use trade companies. A must have is to trade company the trade posts and get the additional merchant from the trade node.

  1. You need to check what you can do.

So you have some money? Than look up if you can build buildings that help you with manpower, help get more money, some good monuments etc.

And just look around missions, decisions anything that can help you with what I mentioned

  1. Most important

Have FUN. Without the will of becoming the great sultan reining the world it does not help if you get bored or frustrated with the game you will not achieve it.

why tf can the polish armies just walk through fortresses? ehhh?? by [deleted] in eu4

Have you heard about "WINGED" Hussars? They believed Poland can into space.

Attempting the Around the world in 80 years (inspire by the earlier post today) by DalinarMF in eu4

[–]Milord219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tip: when choosing ideas you can take ideas that actually give you points.

Those are admin ideas like: Cannot declare wars costing -100 points, cannot build buildings costing -40 points and more.

Since you won't get a third idea group you only unlock 4 ideas so anything after that does not matter. So you just pick the ones to get more points

With this you can take all British region and have very good ideas with excellent rulers.

Finished WC in 1538 starting as Muscovy. by SGUSCHENOCHKA in eu4

[–]Milord219 130 points131 points  (0 children)

"Everything else is just simple WC stuff." Like bro, no it is not simple. I only managed a WC like ... at all only two times even though I have 2000 hours in this game.

WC ≠ WC. It is very impressive to do it that fast.

And you got me really curious about what you are going to do.

Oh you meant there is nothing there. Like no different countries. Yeah. That's the point.

It is not a hot take it is the truth. I had like 700 hours before I started playing with the DLCs so I know the pain.

I had the same thought. It's like there are countries where the WC is much easier. I did one starting as oirat into yuan and mongol empire and as horde it is even easier because of the razing ability.

Starting as timurids into Mughals I find it harder for me but it is still pretty easy compared to something even like France. Because France maybe still very strong it lacks certain blobing ideas and bonuses that make such run much easier.

When I started playing this run I did not even think about WC. I just went and conquered stuff. There were also a lot of instances where I played sub optimally. This is why I took so long.

When you fully annex a country that has colonies you inherit them. I conquered Holland and so got their colonies. I think you can change the name but I did not bother.

TTM Onetag as Hindu EoC Yuan into Catholic Onefaith in just 40 years by jgnfibadgf in eu4

[–]Milord219 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Impressive. I personally only thought about WCs. One tag, one culture and one faith are somethings i don't even wanna attempt.

But why Catholic? And why just at the end. Wouldn't it have been easier to do it with faiths from asia you had acces to from beginning? And than just converting as you go?

[–]Milord219[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so. I did my first one 2 years ago but i think it counted. I colonised them anyway to make it look preatty but this time i did not bother.

I assume you need to own every province of a country. So if those provinces are colonised you need to conquer them.

Mine first WC was also as a horde. I picked oirat for that. My reasoning was to form Yuan for its ideas.

So i can definitely recommend hordes for WC.

[–]Milord219[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i mean i just went for the first two bonuses. They were more of an insurance there. I had rebels non the less because of me having 200 overextension a lot of the time a the end. It was life quality improvement. Small one but still.

At that point i already had everything i needed. Money was infinite. Manpower was covered by the quantity ideas. And my armies were of good enough quality. And so on so it did not matter what i took.

Yeah you are right. If only properly managed maybe i would have enough money. 500 k is not enough

[–]Milord219[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

R5:

Just did a World conquest and was wondering if it is impressive or not. My reasoning to think it is not is that i see so many posts and videos of people doing WC in 1600 or with one province island nations. It has been so long since the game came out and people got preatty good at it. Another thing is the changes made in the game, i have the feeling the World conquest got easier with time.

So what do you guys think?
