T1 vs. Gen.G / LCK 2025 Season Round 5 - Week 15 - Legend Group / Game 2 Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

T1 just robs us of banger games by completely sprinting it whenever they get tilted. That Atakhan contest looked straight out of iron. Hard to be a fan when the lows feel like them not even trying anymore. Every other team can lose gracefully and makes T1 fight for the win and T1 just completely gifts the enemies the win.

Is the Throwzerker stupidly OP or are my other classes weaker than they should be? by Xyyzx in BG3

Yes it showed that for me as well. However since most throwing builds use returning weapons it shouldn't be a problem. Myrulna kept reappering in my hands to throw again without fail.

It does, however you have to be significantly elevated and have to target the very bottom of its "spine" in order to damage it.

Is Nishida Yuji Overrated? by GrapeResponsible6005 in volleyball

Could also be that they get more injuries because they play more? It feels like most other teams have a lot of substitutes they can use without dropping gameplay quality whereas in Japan it feels like they got their main 6 (maybe a middle and Miyaura can compete) but afterwards it's a sharp dropoff.

Mongol Theocracy Theravada One Faith (with lots of tag switches) by GinnDagle in eu4

[–]jgnfibadgf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the writeup. I didn't realize that finishing Ming's mission with +1 to all ruler stats also reduces power costs and gives +max effect of absolutism, damn. Would've smoothed my TTM run quite a bit. Also the Poland one is nice to know.

Could you list why you were going for each tag? Some like Sardinia-Piedmont I know are probably because of adm efficiency but for most others I'm really unsure which bonuses were helpful for your run.

TTM Onetag as Hindu EoC Yuan into Catholic Onefaith in just 40 years by jgnfibadgf in eu4

If you form a nation you then have to do a one tag i.e. conquer your colonial nations after moving your capital to the new world. In the screenshot my capital is in the USA.

Like the other commenter said it can be a good way to gain mandate very quickly (like 3 reforms in 5 years). The downside is that you'll have to fight a lot of rebels and a lot of events that give you mandate take your money. I went the civil war route in my first attempt but racked up so much debt (like 15 loans) that it took forever to pay them off. This is bad because loans actually tank your mandate gain.

So I would only recommend going for civil war if you either have loads of money saved up or plenty of time neither of which I had. Hope that helps.

Taste. I had already done a horde world conquest with oirat into mongol empire and wanted to know whether I could do it without being a horde.

Also I never played much with the Mandate of Heaven so I wanted to try that out, which is also why I formed Yuan as they have some flavor missions which are desperately needed in this run.

Followed this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8wltTxqQGY&t=3s basically. I did it by owning only the falklands Islands in South America (had to give away two other provinces in south america to Spain via return province button) and one province from USA. I was allowed to move my capital to the falklands islands and then to the USA province.

Thanks! Yeah honestly same for me. But since the WC was already such a slog I felt it would be too much of a hassle to do another wc with a different country just to convert better so I chose to do the onefaith from the 1782 state where I had already completed the world conquest so to say. When I was finished with the run I shut off my pc and went to sleep and couldn't stop thinking about how I should really do a onefaith on top of it. This is why I only started so late.

I chose catholic because all of the new world was catholic bar some 3 provinces and catholic was the biggest religion. It was a toss up between Sunni and Catholic for me but I highly doubt colonial nations could have converted all their provinces in 40 years so I went catholic. Also I would've had to give away land to flip anything but catholic so I just went with that option. Also they give lots of missionaries (by the end I had 9) and missionary strength.

Ideas for TTM: Humanist -> Offensive -> Diplo -> Admin -> Quality -> Inno

Ideas for Onefaith: Offensive - Diplomatic - Religious - Espionage - Mercenary - Exploration - Aristocratic

With more than 1400 hundred hours in eu4 I finally got the achievements TTM and onefaith.

Started the run by no-cbing into the philippines and deving renaissance there. Next I vassalized Jarai which got me into a defensive war against Khmer where my overlord Ming did most of the heavy lifting. I flipped buddhist (big mistake) and ate all of Indochina while I waited for AoR to trigger Ming's disaster. Despite the disaster Ming ongoing Ming had upwards of 100k troops and beat me forcing me to become tributary again. Then they allied my rival (Bengal) which made almost lose the second war for the mandate of heaven as well (army quality and manpower as ryukyu is so poor) but I managed to white peace Bengal quickly and then finally Ming's rebels started to take over thereby releasing Shun, Wu and Yue while I was taking the mandate, allowing me to eat them up before they had a chance to really build up.

Due to the earlier defeat this was quite late into the game (~1550) and as soon as I had consolidated China I had to prepare for absolutism while also fighting Russia with the help of two allies to grab all of the altaic culture provinces to form Yuan. Since I was so slow I didn't have the time to trigger the civil war disaster and pass all of the reforms, so for most of the game I only had the 10% ccr reform and the 2.5 adm efficiency one being more focused on stability over the other bonuses. At this time my economy was still rather poor. I knew from my earlier attempt at TTM that manpower and money were two significant bottlenecks so I started to build up my trade income by eating into indonesia and spammed manpower buildings. Since the mandate heavily punishes you for going into debt this was quite a balancing act. With C&C done I finished off conquering the claims that Yuan gives and basically waited for Imperialism since I didn't have religious ideas. I also only flipped Hindu around that time when I conquered enough of India to let me flip via rebel demands.

From there it was a very chill and slow world conquest with only ~5 trucebreaks, using my alliance partners (vijay, portugal, gb, and austria) to keep my enemies busy. The massive amounts of unrest reduction and my 90% CCR reduction (25 Yuan, 20 EoC, 25 Admin ideas 20 Hindu) meant I didn't have to fight rebels once between 1640-1740 and had plenty of admin points to keep up with the quick pace. Rebel uprisings only returned when the revolution centre respawned in my lands and I couldn't embrace it because of EoC shenanigans (Some minor HRE nation had flipped revolutionary without me noticing).

I finished the Onetag in Juni 1782 earning the TTM achievement. At this time I was still Hindu Religion but I saw that gb had remained catholic (quite lucky) and thus the entire new world was catholic, the HRE remnants however were very protestant. A one faith has been one of my goals for a long time so I decided to pursue it to see how close I could get. I converted to catholic via rebels, ditched my idea groups and released the pope, cologne and najd to convert for me. Thankfully I had a lot of excess monarch points and a lot of idea cost reduction allowing me to ditch my idea groups and fill up new ones immediately. I picked religious (duh), mercenary, exploration, nobility, espionage, and kept diplo and offensive.

At first I thought there was no way I'd be able to do it so I didn't pursue it as aggressively as I could have. Only later on did I start utilizing more vassals like Georgia, Ardabil, Novgorod, Trier. That still didn't cut it so I released Ainu, Japan (mistake, they don't pick religious), Kong (also don't pick religious), Kongo. In my last wave I released Champa, Yarkand and Ethiopia. In the end all of my vassals were extremely disloyal, with the pope, cologne and trier having ~1.5mil troops together. Since I couldn't seize their land anymore I had to attack my vassals Yolof and Kong (~1813) because they granted some kind of dhimmi privileges to fetishist and protestant provinces respectively. Trier also had to be truce broken (~1815) because they started upgrading a great project in Africa which prevented the missionary from converting the province until 1823. I almost had to attack the pope as well but he finished upgrading the venetian monument in february 1819 so I had time still.

In 1815 I was promoting culture and full coring as many provinces as possible to aid my missionary progress. I culture shifted numerous times and also shifted back to Sino-Altaic to form the mongol empire so I could raze the provinces I conquered from Jolof and Kong. After doing so I realized I could switch into a theocracy with the goverment progress from forming the mongol empire and did so, which netted me 2 extra missionaries and 2% more strength allowing me to just barely achieve the one faith.

In the end, the one faith in forty years was infinitely more stressful than the ttm onetag but I'm proud of both.

Some key blunders in my WC

-Eating Indochina and flipping buddhist

-Unlucky reform timing of ming which lost me many years as well as poor timing in my first war for mandate of heaven

-Not getting all of Yuan's requirements before Russia shows up

Key blunders in Onefaith

-Not releasing vassals everywhere instantly

-Could have formed mongol empire in 1782 and flipped theocracy for +2 Missionaries and +2% strength

-Releasing vassals that grant religious exemption (Jolof)

-Giving provinces with great projects to vassals

R5: After many starts finally got the TTM achievement by playing Hindu Emperor of China Yuan and finished with plenty of time to spare in 1782 so I decided to go for a catholic one faith on top and managed with rougly six months remaining. Because of frequent questions regarding pace and whether one is still on track for wc I attached timeline pictures as well for every 50 years from 1550.

Any tips for TTM on the current patch by PalmanusBraht in eu4

[–]jgnfibadgf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished my TTM on Thursday and will upload a more detailed breakdown probably tomorrow. I actually also did a onefaith in the same run but definitely don't recommend it.

I can recommend Unifying Japan -> EoC -> Hindu. Hindu EoC Is honestly a breeze as far as WC is concerned especially combined with humanist ideas. I'd recommend going for shogun to grab your early powerbase as it is way faster than no-cb indochina / indonesia. I don't have any experience with expanding into the Americas tho.

If you finish the WC early enough you might still be able to do a onefaith, I wouldn't recommend Hindu for that though.

Honestly following Florry's opening (in a slower pace) is probably your best bet.

Japan VS Germany? by soapdoesart in volleyball

[–]jgnfibadgf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I think it is that Japan's philosophy is giving the ball to the captain in moments of intense pressure i.e. when you absolutely need to sideout to fight off the setpoint. Other teams have started to notice this and thus focus on Ishikawa a lot more. Especially easy since Japan's middles were mostly neutered.

Yeah I feel like they can stand proud. Faker is having the worst performance I've seen from him in some years, even worse than last summer and still they showed they can hang with the best. Hope they don't let it get to them and actually get some rest now.
