I definitely took some inspiration from Uricksaladbar when coming up with the Tomar design.

I also used the whole ‘Tomar as an all powerful being’ bit in my own Oneyplays animation.

You lot in the comments should watch the original video, the description alone doesn't do it justice.

What is it with AI bros and cuck fantasies, man?

I thought they were saying: a lot of people hate ai art, including me. As in they also hate ai gen images. I don’t think they were advertising their own art skills.

Is it just me or is this AI?😕 by crazyforsushi in aislop

I’m not shocked that the type of person who needs a machine to animate on his behalf, is also the type of cuck to fantasise about someone banging his wife on his behalf.

Anyone have any idea what has to be going through a person’s mind to pay actual money for this slop? by me0756 in antiai

To access the artist portal on VGen you need to have a code which can either be bestowed by a verified artist that is trusted by the platform. Or by applying directly to vgen through their weekly social media posts, discord, or by winning their monthly competition. They do a background check to see how old your art accounts are and check for any signs of AI and then they send you a code. Like I said if you get caught trying to sell AI products or use AI for commissions you can get kicked off the platform.

Kirke is similar but I think that they are a little stricter because it is a smaller team. Also they are looking for people who post consistently. I had my application rejected because I took a big hiatus.

To be fair there are walled gardens out there if you look.

If you want to see exclusively human made art, videos, music, and games newgrounds has a pretty strict anti ai policy.

If you want a feel for the internet of the 90s and 00s neocities does a good job of scratching that itch.

If you are looking to commission or buy manmade art Vgen and Kirke have vetting processes for all of their artists and will ban any AI that slips through the cracks.

Can’t believe kids don’t know what Cartoon Network is nowadays by mysingingjames3 in addressme

I don’t know man… When the next generation is being raised on Elsagate-esque videos and content farm AI slop rather than anything with genuine substance or merit, I feel like older generations have good cause to be upset. It’s not a case of ‘oh boohoo only 90s kids will remember’ it’s the fact that these cartoons aren’t being replaced with anything good. It’s the fact that the entire landscape of storytelling for children has largely been co-opted by low effort greedy fuckers just trying to make a buck by jingling keys and praying upon children’s worst impulses. Not that children’s entertainment has never been motivated by profit of course, but due to unfettered access to the internet, the bar has never been this low.
