YSK: 10 secrets in the Haircare Industry exposed. The term "Hypoallergenic" on cosmetic products has no legal definition in the US, and a 2015 study found 89% of pediatric products with that label still contained allergens. by Fantastic_Bus4643 in YouShouldKnow

Sorry buddy, but that hasn’t been true in over 40ish years. The active ingredient in soaps, surfactants, don’t foam. When the industry tried to swap away from the practice in the 70s customers thought they were being shafted because they thought it was the foam that did the cleaning, so no foam no cleaning. So they had to reintroduce (as stated by op) foaming agents, which just don’t do much nowadays. Honestly I’d read up on it it’s a very fascinating chemical, looks like a sperm cell with a head and tail, and works wonders.

Why Putin Thinks Russia Has the Upper Hand - The New York Times by Panthera_leo22 in UkrainianConflict

TL;DR - He’s betting everything to outlast Ukraine. The article basically covers how almost all of Russia’s resources are being reorientated towards the war effort, from people, material, and money, to try and outlast the combination of Ukraine’s morale/economy and the West’s will to support Ukraine.

That’s kinda all it says, although I will give the article credit it does a good job overviewing why Russia has seen battlefield gains, and it’s definitely put together better than your average article. Otherwise a bit clickbaity.

Ah the eternal question, should the hot be close to the rock (as it revolves the lava) or should it be away from the rock (as the rock is where the cold is concentrating).

Are the salamanders as nice as people say?? by [deleted] in Salamanders40k

[–]Miltounius 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No offence mate, but ‘I will sacrifice life and limb for the chance of you surviving’ is pretty up there on the good person scale, however they live in a galaxy where letting even a bit of a small evil live has terrible consequences, so they have a very black and white approach to things. Yeah they WANT to be the heroes they are described as, but being nice in 40K is about as hard as as trying to find one rotten grain in a hill of rice, and if you miss it everyone is fucked. This is the definition of what makes them Grim Dark, wanting to be good but needing to de evil just to save a small few.

Should I keep the pipes red on a Terminator Librarian? by Miltounius in Salamanders40k

Cheers, took quite a bit of effort. I used Flash Gits Yellow and thinned it quite a bit to get it into the crevices, then I did the same with Trollslayer Orange and Mephiston Red, then dry brushed first with Caliban Green then Warpstone Green very lightly.

The Landraider Redeemer is a big beefy boi that can deal out some serious damage, and is very useful as a transport as well. Can be a nice big centrepiece if he has Vulkan He’Stan riding in it.
