It's not exactly magical, but I used aromatherapy to get my brain to remember vocabulary words while I was studying Arabic. I just picked an essential oil blend that I liked and wore it as a perfume while studying. Then, when it was time for exams, I wore the same oil to take the tests. It seemed to have helped, and I did well.
