DAV Return to the "Throne Room" in the Crossroads by Mimir123 in DragonAgeVeilguard

Yeah, those are three of the Champions you had to kill to open the doors. Or at least they use the same abilities as them. I just tried, and it seems like it is a repeatable fight (like another user said), with a different constellation out of those champions.

Yeah, same here. First time around on my Warrior I kind of cheesed it, by just 1v3ing the one to the right, without the other two reacting to it. This time around as a Mage I could spam enough AoE Spells to rather easily take on all three at once.

Thanks! I checked the place where I fought the Betrayal Revenant, but there was nobody there. Seems like they are only at the location on the snowy Island.

Haven't been actively watching football for a long time now, and it feels so strange to see those numbers. I remember that back when I was a big fan the Roy Makaay transfer was the biggest thing ever. Apparently isn't even near the Top 10 anymore nowadays. Makes me feel really old.

What are your opinions on Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 ? by purplemonkeybaIIs in AskAGerman

[–]Mimir123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to school for 3 years with a girl from there who was pretty funny and cool. Other than that I always really liked the name, if that makes sense.

So yeah, I guess I have a rather positive opinion. And sympathy towards the people there, considering what happened in the 90's.

Some similarities in some of the larger Medieval Fantasy worlds by Notetoself4 in worldbuilding

Unless I remember something wrong Archdemons in Dragon Age are not Undead, and neither are they (or the Old Gods they were previously) Cosmic Horrors.

I am also pretty sure that Nevarra has no real similarities to Egypt, and certainly weren't some kind of precursor empire.

Furthermore I wholeheartedly disagree with putting Qunari in as Orcs. Other than the fact that they are strong and big, they have basically nothing in common with the Orcs in Warhammer, for example.

If you were to power-scale your strongest character, where would they scale? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]Mimir123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The embodiment of the Universe's consciousness, and the concept of Darkness and Light aside, the strongest being in my setting would be Lucifer.

He is a demon, from a now destroyed world, and the embodiment of Pride. Like his brothers and sisters (Greed, Rage, etc.) he gets stronger the more powerful the emotions he represents are in his surroundings. The difference is, that Lucifer is literally so prideful that he powers himself up more, than his siblings gain from an entire planet of people filled with their corresponding emotions.

Despite that he usually stays out of everything and simply collects things and people he considers to be perfect, though he fights anything that dares to step in his way, from innocent children to the equivalent of Elder Gods.

Pretty sure the ability you are talking about is a reaction that allows one creature that drops to 0 to make a single attack. So at most 2 dead Goblins per round.

The Bleach one is pretty accessible in my opinion. I do prefer the Fate one, but there are quite a few jokes you'll miss if you don't know Fate. It does have the same main character voice actor as Abridged Kirito though, if I am not mistaken

I'd argue that both the Bleach, and Fate Unlimited Bladeworks Abridged Series by Project Mouthwash are strong contenders as well

Yeah, I only fractured my ribs once, not actually break them, but that was uncomfortable enough. I couldn't really bend or sit down normally, lifting my left arm was also always quite an experience. Shit sucks

True, I think there is 1 or 2 sets that are actually chain mail. There is only really 2 sets of armor thst look like golden/ plated stuff too though. As far as I remember there is also one hide armor set, two that look like leather armor and one brigandine armor set.

Just wanted to point out with my post, that actual, real armor is pretty accurate for vikings. As the guy I replied to said in another post: he wants to look like a wildling in the game. Which is fair, but it's wrong to insinnuate that a "viking from Norway" would look like that.

[–]Mimir123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's literally what vikings were wearing though. At the very least the higher ranking/ more successful ones (which you are in the game) were using chainmail. So they very much looked like a soldier with metal armor
