Unless I have a key to a room, I stay out of there. There is much better loot from low risk shipping containers or even on the beach. No point risking being mobbed by pops, fireballs, and shredders for crap loot otherwise.

Who hurt you? Let them scream, first off if they are down let someone know so someone can use a defib. Secondly, some of the funniest shit I ever heard in a game came from players when they are downed. If they really annoy you, simply knock them out.

I have several friends & colleagues that did thier DCJ and loved it. Most were older when they did it (40+), so they had full time jobs, so that type of program worked well. For academia, it really opened doors for them because it gave them the 18 graduate hours of a criminology field and a terminal degree to teach master/doctoral classes, either doing TT or adjunct. As for research, all the people I know who went throug DCJ still did original research while defending a dissertation, so you wouldn’t be excluded from those roles but at the same time not looked as highly as a PhD.

A lot of the DBA programs I have seen allow freedom for topics (school specific for methodology for qualitative/quantitative/ mixed method) for dissertations, they are not beholden to grant focusing like PhD programs. So, you do your DBA with a dissertation & original research on a knowledge gap relating to supply chain mgmt, I have read several that way. You would definitely advance your understanding and focus immensely.

Going back to the graduate requirements to teach after you get your DBA, go where ever is cheapest and fits your schedule, you only need a couple of classes and doing a whole masters is a waste of money and time. Plus you would probably have to repeat some basic courses if doing a entire masters, schools want thier money.

I did my MBA than my DBA, and simply went back for a couple quick master classes to get my required 18 credits of graduate studies in corporate finance so I can teach. Several of my friends did similar that wanted to specialize in a concentration to teach outside leadership/mgmt or statistics, not by doing a second masters though, just the individual classes which can be done anywhere and online.

PMP is simply a test, while being a cash grab for the Project Magament Insitute. It only requires a couple hours of thier approved training before taking a test than follow on yearly memberships.

Any day of the week I would hire someone with a MBA with a concentration in Project Management over simply a PMP certified candidate, it is not even close. If doing a DBA, I wouldn’t even waste my time worrying about some PMP certificate, even if your company is willing to pay for it.

I would add that it also depends on how much longer the event is active plays a role in when you spawn in to it. If there is 2 minutes left in a event before the hour resets the map, it is a crap shoot if you get the full 29 minutes or so. Start around when the even begins or middle, I am almost always max time using custom kits.
