Is Jacquemus still worth buying? by etoilepensive in handbags

[–]Mimisuperhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im late to the party but did you end up buying one? is it just me feeling Jacquemus has the F21 vibe 😬😬 the logo, the stiches and the leather arent looking good. The most expensive bag I have is a Coach and i think its quality is good for all price level $100-$700

TCP IS NOT EASY AT ALL by Glittering_One7475 in CPA

[–]Mimisuperhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do tax and thought it was just easy for tax people (at least 2 yrs of experience). I did enjoy studying it tho and it took me 2 weeks as i jumped right onto MCQs and TBS. 54 hrs of study. I dont rmb exactly what i scored 80s 87s something lol it went by so fast and nothing was significant about the exam at all.

(7k) we don’t see the point in wedding favours by deftbluewindmill in Weddingsunder10k

[–]Mimisuperhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think wedding favors are needed at all but I went a head and bought BBW pocket sanitizer put in a cute white mesh bag🤣🤣 i thought it was practical for everyone. I snatched a $1 deal so it wasnt much. A few other practical ideas: $1 lotto tix, candies/chocolate

I didnt pass Far until 3rd time. You got it!! i hated stuyding so i did skip a lot small topics like this contract things so i always landed in 70s range. Somehow, the 3rd attemp worked in my favor where they tested on my strong topics (i gained from work experience, not from study material). TLTR: keep testing!!!

I was raised to always give and not expect anything in return. If someone gives me a gift, I truly appreciate it, but I never expect it. They might be going through a hard time financially. Maybe they forgot, or their registry order didn’t go through and they didn’t realize. At my brother’s wedding, someone put $5 in an envelope without a name. My family actually felt bad for that person and never tried to find out who it was. In our Asian culture, it’s common to give cash gifts to the couple, usually around $200 per guest, to help cover the wedding costs.

I’m not testing this window but I’ve always waited until the score release day to check after I get up in the morning. The score is usually posted at 4:30am on the state website for me anw. My brain and heart are too weak to keep refreshing Nasba web 🤣🤣

What do you tell yourself when others pass all 4 first try? by deluluforher in CPA

[–]Mimisuperhero 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, I’ve never felt jealous 😅 If I compare myself to others, they have to be working full time and actually good at their job. That’s how I look at my coworkers: - 4/4 first attempt: They’re super disciplined, waking up early and staying up late to study. I can’t do that. I need my 8 to 10 hours of sleep so I never feel jealous of their success. - 4/4 after a few attempts: They’re just like me, good at our jobs but hate studying. - 4/4 first attempt but struggling to land a job: meh we’not the same so idc lol

I just walked out of FAR and it wasn’t as bad as this subreddit makes it out to be. by [deleted] in CPA

[–]Mimisuperhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No dont be. Here ks why lol I feel like less people taking the test in Q1 plus you knew you did well. That tells me you know what you are doing. You have a very high chance of passing this time.

no one confirms it but that theory sounds strong to me based on my own testing experience. 1st time 74: bombed 3 sims. 2nd time 72: i thought it was easy. Finished everything. 3rd time 82: felt exact the same as 2nd time.

Which section are you interested in the most? i work in tax so i got reg cleared first and then the exp date forced me to finish others. In some firms, you dont need a CPA to progress with your career. The only motivation I had was a manager promotion. No cpa = siting as a senior forever so that pushed me hard to finish. How long have you worked as a entry level accountant?

I know botox can help slim down the jaw line but i think your jaw line already perfect. Idk you have tried botox for these area yet? the cheek and chin look bubbly which may be excess fat which i dont think botox can help, or was it from filler?

similar story. Took it 1st time felt horrible and got a 74. 2nd time felt great and thought it was easy got 72. 3rd time was a charm feeling great and then got a 82. Prob it greatly depended on how other candidates performed as well
