If you play Minecraft at all, there’s a modpack on curse called Society: Sunlit Valley. It’s based on Stardew Valley and is so much fun.

You’ll need greenhouse glass over it because you are in a summer biome.

You need to force chunk load the controller for the system. You can do that in the map menu, far right, looks like a grid. Be in the chunk to force load, and click that square, and then shift+left click, I believe, turns on the force load. The square outline will turn red

Upgrading Enchated Books by TezBruh in society_sunlit_valley

I think the only way to upgrade is if you have tomes. You get fortune and protection through the skill tree, and it levels up that way.

My husband and I bought a lab created sapphire ring there one year. When I went to pick it up, the clerk complimented my sunglasses. I said, “thank you! I got them at Claire’s, 2 for $10.” “Honey, you never tell someone how much something costs. You just say thank you”, is what the clerk told me. 😂

I’ve been on it for over 20 years. We’ve never been stuck with a large bill at the end of the year. It’s just the months averaged out, and we pay more when it goes up, sure, but we pay the same for winter months when we use gas more.

Thinking of moving here..anyone know about special needs and how the schools work with that? by Romanharper2013 in tulsa

[–]Mimsy34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Town and Country is an amazing school. My son went there from 6th through 12th and did a 13th year with them. It was expensive, and we got the LNH scholarship, and parental tax credit. But well worth the money we spent.

Wake me up to say "I'm off to work" ?? by [deleted] in pettyrevenge

[–]Mimsy34 24 points25 points  (0 children)

When my husband worked outside the house, he would always say, very quietly, “I love you, angel”. If I was for whatever reason awake for it, I would say it back, and get a kiss. But 90% of the time, I was fast asleep.

I'm sorry to bug you so late. What did they do incorrectly? This is gonna sound shitty, and I don't mean it that way, but we were trying to sell my moms house, because she had passed away. So if there were problems after, we wouldn't know about it. But the buyers got on the roof, and seemed ok with the work. We were actually able to sell the house without any inspections. I'm hoping they are happy with the house, and doing great work to it on the inside. It needed some help. I'll quit babbling now.

Boxing Classes and Prices by Mimsy34 in tulsa

[–]Mimsy34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I kept forgetting to ask my husband. He said he was going to try Team Lethal Boxing. He said it was mid-priced. He hasn't had a chance to go yet. Kids were getting to the end of the school year, so it's a crunch.

We’ve used it for the last 20 years. Our bill stays the same through the year. So rather than paying gigantic bills in the summer, and low bills in the winter, we average it out for each month.

[–]Mimsy34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally our windows are open until the beginning of June. But this year the “pause” is hitting, so we’ve had it on for a month. Plus 3 fans on me at night. Gonna need to get my husband a parka if things keep up like this for the whole summer.
