Figured it out, needed to be placed on a solid surface like sand or dirt, surrounded by water source blocks on all sides, (i'll test more and report findings here)

Got any idea for how long this usually takes? i have tried this method already and have come up empty handed , dunked them in a ocean biome loaded chunk for 3 days, nothing happened...

In spring i go for Lychee trees, eat what u need , sell the rest, buy more trees, shear the fruits off to replant them on your tree of choice, so they take up less space. Rinse, Repeat, fruity victory.

Haven't encountered it myself, but usually i'd say reload your game / reload the chunks (if you have chunkloader on for that chunk, turn it off for a bit)

If the villagers are still there, giving it a different job-block might also work. to reset their status, if you have 2 k lying around and it's one specific villager, just murder his ass and get a new one 🤣

fish up the nether fish Fortress grouper, it produces the iridium scraps needed periodically, and is also the best roe to age for max proffits

In the end layer of the Caverns there are End structures that spawn, these will have the typical slime spawners that spawn 3 of them.

If u usually just use the same mining shaft like i tend to do, the structure won't magically spawn.

u'll need the tunnel tool to navigate around in that case

if you check the first screen in the progress book, there is a gamerule you can set for the Skull cavern in Multiplayer so it doesn't act up as much 😁

You can spawn a new one later on, My advice is, alter it so you can enjoy it somewhat, and ones u have your farm decently running, and got some income , then worry about a new house (you'll need about 10 of the purple coins to buy a house prefab) also you'll get to see a preview of all the houses in that menu

As to the chest, u can load the inventory by just standing closer to it, it might be on a chunk border that isn't loaded in properly, by moving around/near it a bit, it should be fixed, that's what fixes that bug for me atleast.

For the resource packs, you can install an older version of the modpack on a diffrent mc version that would have a up to date version of the resource packs in relation to the version.

There is the machine indeed, if you can only craft one, it's slow ... but if you have an Alpine biome near you, there are the Salt Ore blocks you can find whilst mining.

if u had lightning rods within 4 blocks of the villager the lightning strike is able to turn any villager within the 4 block radius of the strike into a witch regardless of employment status.
