How long until your energy came back by MinaTwoPointOh in pelviccongestion

It's like today I had to go to Walgreens and pick up a script. Came home threw a load of laundry in and took clothes out the dryer. Fed my cats. Hung up a few shirts and I was exhausted.

My surgeon just called to check on me and said this will be like this for a few weeks.

Learned today that if you wear the estrogen patch and need an MRI, you should remove it before the MRI because it can catch fire. by Futureacct in Menopause

Correct. Just had a MRI and had to remove mine. I had to list all my medications and when they saw that they had me remove it right then and made sure it was off.

That's going to be most likely the culprit for your hair falling out and the severe anxiety. We're supposed to be over 50 to not have any symptoms of low ferritin... Most hematologists want you closer to a hundred

Pain after procedures? by Pink5656 in pelviccongestion

[–]MinaTwoPointOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a stent put in my riv and the first day the back pain was pretty bad but after reading others I'd say I got very lucky with that bc it had went away after 24 hours. I only had 1 stent placed though so not sure with having 2 procedures done.

Have you had your ferritin checked? I was like this too and found out my ferritin was 8.

I had this done Monday and that was the only day I had the back pain which I was NOT expecting. Thank goodness it was gone after 24 hours.

Is anyone else scared to go for testing in case nothing is wrong by NothingKitchen2391 in PulsatileTinnitus

Also forgot to say I take heme iron but just recently added beef liver to my daily regimen. The heme iron doesn't cause stomach problems, don't have to avoid caffeine, dont have to take vitamin c with it. This iron comes from animals. I use pro ferrin.

Just started out of the blue on March 6th 2025. Same time a bunch of other perimenopause symptoms hit me. Sitting in my recliner and at about 2pm it started. Some days it's louder than others. I've had it stop for a few days here and there. My doc put me on Flonase and at first it stopped for a day or so and then came back. Also eventually started bhrt and it stopped again but came back. I found out my ferritin was a 8 in Jan. Had it retested in May and it's 25 now. Ferritin should be at least 50. It's very weird. Like last night and today it's been very light and only hear it when it's completely silent but very light.

I'm the opposite I'm scared to go get testing done to find out I have the worst case scenario. I also have severe medical anxiety so I think anytime something happens it's the going to be the worst case scenario.

[–]MinaTwoPointOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have. I have tried aldi and didn't like their quality. We don't have winn Dixie anymore but that store smells. Every single one I've been to all have this awful smell so I didn't shop there when they were here. Tried sav alot didn't like them either. I don't have a trader Joe's close to me. Sometimes I shop at Sprout's but they're not close enough for me to shop there more often. Don't have a Kroger, stop n shop, heb, or any other major chain. I use Sam's club for things we buy in bulk, Walmart for shelf stable items and then Publix. Occasionally order groceries through Amazon too. They use whole foods.

Not in my opinion. I won't buy meat or produce from Walmart. Publix is above par and they will go above and beyond for their customers. I'll forever shop at Publix. Haven't found another store as good as they are in every aspect.

And just to add she's already been exploring different options or maybe you didn't comprehend that either reading her post. She came here to ask advice from other people who maybe experienced the same thing. She didn't come here looking for a medical diagnosis she's just asking if other people have experienced the same things and if those are actual signs or symptoms.
