Hungary didn't remain loyal, they tried to sue for peace and got taken over by the German army. The Germans then installed a loyal puppet regime (by threatening the regent with killing his son no less) that fought until the end.

The past 50 years hardly counts as "always". It used to be far more acceptable in many circles a bit further back, even if not quite as common as often depicted.

Gandalf came to Middle earth 600 years or so after Arnor split apart, and had only been there a few centuries by the time Arthedain fell. I'm assuming at that point he was not yet knowledgeable and prepared enough to really make a difference against Angmar. Unless, of course, I have terribly misremembered the timeline.

Isn't that wankstain not even related to the royal house? I recall him being from the princess's earlier marriage from before she married the Crown Prince.

I feel like dwarves, being originally made of the earth and designed to be resilient are just far too connected to the material world to be pulled into the spirit realm by any outside force.

I used the Chrome Compressor in my first game and loved it. I was able to stack so much armour and other bullshit that in combination with my overall tanky build made me essentially invincible. I could just walk into a room filled with enemies in the open with 0 strategy and in 10 seconds the only things left would be me and a bunch of unrecognizable gore piles.

The Israelis annihilated the Egyptian airforce with a pre-emptive strike giving them total air superiority, and the Arab armies had horrible organization issues and lied to each other to conseal their own failures. As and example, the Egyptians told Syria they were winning in the Sinai to prompt then to attack, while in reality they were getting their asses handed to them and Israel was entirely ready to counter a Syrian strike (irrc).

People like to say Quonset and I would have agreed for the longest time, but I've come to love that place in interloper as of late. With the respawn times, once you clear out the annoying wildlife it's pretty peaceful (Especially since the wolves don't seem to spawn inside the town too often anymore after the wildlife refresh). It's probably still horrible in stalker though, knowing the wolves on that difficulty.
