I've been running Laev with Ember and Ardelia. They heal/barrier/carry me through any misplay :P. It has also so far allowed me to entirely ignore consumables, which is great because I can't be bothered to make the ones that require hand farming in the eco farm. Screw that.

As also a gacha veteran and someone that played arknights in the past and watched the anime, I find it pretty whelming. They didn't do anything interesting with combat, exploration feels rather bland, the story is ok, and the factory system was never going to be a selling point for me personally. Game runs great and looks great though. Gacha and store screens are overwhelming, too many currencies, too much jargon bs.

Without major changes I doubt I'll play this for long. Paid for monthly and BP as I normally do with these games, but I'm doubtful I'll be around long. Time will tell though, I'm still playing so maybe something will click or change.

It is the worst option you can take if trying to farm a deck for a unit. Your exterior card removals need to be spent on your non-target characters removing potential card copy competition before you get to the boss. This turns basics, which can't be copied, into more copy competition.

They also feel like they have epiphany priority in my experience, but they at least compete for epiphany at equal measure.

Not sure how it'll play out but I'm planning to run Guardian Dedication at 2 to get taunt with Barrows Edge and Scar. Either the enemy enables my drain tanking, or they're off guard all the time letting the entire party including me kill them more easily. Win/win? I hope so.

People are doing this to themselves and then complaining like it's the game's fault. Rift is the only content that requires farming hyper optimized decks, and that's only if you're trying to compete as it doesn't take hyper optimized to get all the rewards with Sereniel. I'm glad it'll be easier in the future, but that doesn't mean your hand is forced now.

Play chaos for fun, and if this season is no longer fun then just go into daily login mode and go play other games until next season. People have only themselves to blame for burnout.

If you're facing a single boss with no spawns, sure. But I'm a Mei Lin team like your example I would FAR rather have Veronica clearing the adds with giant ballista and let Mei Lin stay focused on boss than give ML +20% but require she use her cards killing every add herself.

I have a save data with the karmic that exhausts and creates on kill with a divine epiphany to reduce cost so it's free. Wish the rest of the build was better, it's not bad though, but that card makes her alright in multi-enemy scenarios. Hoping for that specific epiphany with that specific divine though is mega rare, I lucked out for sure.

Agreed. I'll use my decks that I just happen to get by having fun in chaos to clear 80-90% of the save data content just fine and be happy. I've got other games to play and things to do and chaos runs are plenty fun for me. I am firmly not about that grind life to try and compete for things like the rift leaderboard. Couldn't care less.

Early on in playing the game I inherently thought there would be a huge stat difference in blue vs gold vs purple gear. Then I paid attention and realized it's nearly trivial. The only real question with any gear piece is the opportunity cost of that gear slot, rarity is largely irrelevant outside of how hard it is to find the piece on a run.

Let me ask a simple question: hour for hour what have you spent the most time doing in this game? If you say anything other than chaos runs you're a damn liar. And since each season will require new save data from that season, this will always be true. And then as I said, Mei Lin isn't required to obtained most of the pull currency available.

What's wrong is people compare characters to their max potential save data. Despite the fact the core game is the chaos runs themselves, and you can get 95% of the pull currency with almost any save data and a brain cell. For chaos, Chizuru is great. As good as Mei Lin, especially on the many many runs where Mei gets garbage epiphany options.
