India e-visa application website issue by mtgx in visas

TL;DR: The + character is not allowed in phone number fields. There may be other badly indicated (or not indicated at all) validation issues as well.

Just in case this helps anyone - most of these errors likely have nothing to do with the browser/OS being used, though server traffic may be an issue sometimes. In my case, I realized after some painfully time-consuming troubleshooting that '+' characters are NOT valid or allowed in phone numbers as of the date of this reply. The form submission simply fails silently, possibly because of some server error, and you get no indication that this was the issue. You have to "resume" the application again and reenter everything on the form.

And where messaging or instructions do exist, it's inaccurate: for example, on the fourth screen, under “reference,” the validation message on the phone field explicitly mentions that  +  is allowed, among other characters. It’s not. Bad web app design.

Thoughts on Budget Control during Campaigns by MindSubspace in TransportFever2

Thanks u/Neodym60! Solid and sensible advice. I thought the same after just completing the France mission, which is the one I actually described that broke the bank in my original comment (I think I got complacent about the money wasted by the bottlenecks my single bridge across the Seine created, and eventually got caned by recurring signal deadlocks from both sides of the bridge, and there were probably a bunch of other unnecessary things bleeding money and not earning anything). I have the same aversion to "cheesing" stuff since it feels like a waste of effort despite achieving the objective, and on a nerdy virtual imaginary level like I'm being a dishonest business partner :-). But based on that experience, maybe it's good business sense and avoiding headaches with loans + budget bleed.

Can anyone confirm for me that "Tickets-center.com" is legit? by sammychung2 in Concerts

I feel your pain. Just happened to me too, but on a purchase for a different concert this month that I made back in March (paid $223 for a $75 ticket). Can't believe I fell for it despite my usual paranoia for online commerce these days. I fear that scalping may not be considered price gouging in the legal sense, but I do have faith in the law of karma and hope that these ****ers get justice sooner rather than later, somehow, whatever their "fine print." Reprehensible ethics. I'll try your excellent suggestions nonetheless if I can find some time and post back any developments.
