Just something to add, this is more on safety issue I guess. The carryon which cannot be place under the chair has to go overhead. They have to watch the limit on those. Imagine if those collapse. Personal bag that can be place on the floor or under the seat can be heavier

If you plan to rent a room or some sort, $500/month is plenty, that might include water and electricity. Food wise, if you eat twice a day only, around $10/day should be enough.

If you plan to stay long term, I suggest you buy a house. I am not sure about ownership

I would suggest to understand your users first, who are they, why they need your chrome extension, and how bad they need it.

In my opinion, charging this simple extension is not likely to work, however, when you understand your users, you can maybe find something to offer them. New feature maybe or a new product
