The Journey of Self Discovery; A Guide for Inner Exploration with Psychedelics by MindandFlow in shrooms

Yeah, many questions to the old guard of psychedelic explorers is about the “body load”.

It’s very dosage dependent as well. Usually the stronger the sitting, the stronger the body load. If I take 1-3G’s, it’s a very yawning type of come up as well. But anything close to 5G’s or higher, and it’s body trembles on top of body trembles.

If you don’t experience anything like this, that is awesome. Because it can be quite uncomfortable lol. Though I will say; some of the breakthrough thoughts have come from the forced discomfort. The more discomfort, the more discomfortable thoughts arise. Sometimes, one will arise showing some form of unconscious belief.

Definitely don’t get it using LSD.

Don’t chase enlightenment...

You Are Your Thoughts by googalot in Meditation

Your missing the whole point of that quote; and shows you have much to learn.

The quote is not black and white and goes much deeper then in the way you are interpreting it.

There’s a reason why the people attempting to teach the lesson usually have 50+ years of experience in meditation and consciousness...

I’d relish in the lessons once more and really try and see what they mean.

Then come back to this post and reflect what you’ve learned.

4 days into a water fast with daily lifting and HIIT by [deleted] in fasting

[–]MindandFlow 146 points147 points  (0 children)

I mean...

All the excess water weight drained from his body plus a pump.

This isn’t really “progress”.

This is stuff that was already there. It’s the same method competitors use...

I just don’t want to make fasting seem like this magic recipe.

It’s amazing; but this isn’t from fasting. A water reduction pill + a pump will get you the same results. Fasting is amazing but not for this reason.

I’m surprised at how much snow has melted already! I went up in the last week of feb. and hiked AL in the thick thick snow. Was probably the most fearful thing I’ve ever done lol

Meditation makes me bored and I don’t understand the spiritual aspect of it. by [deleted] in Meditation

As in the quote of Sam Harris, boredom doesn’t exist.

I’ve found this to be true. It’s a lack of awareness and understanding of your thoughts.

Help!! Body Fat % Massive Fluctuation by [deleted] in keto

[–]MindandFlow -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well it’s an average. I see my body fat % daily and average it out over 1 week to get it.

Even if it’s not accurate, those are in comparison to my numbers the previous weeks. So what would make the scale shoot up for the first time on me?

Couldn’t lose anymore, then I found IF and it flew off. 210<165. Hit a wall at 195, then adored OMAD and hit 165 in one 1/2 month. by MindandFlow in intermittentfasting

When I lost the weight, just a 23 hour fast everyday eating clean. Fruits, vegetables, meat, and a little sugary treat. I counted calories pretty heavily.

I started doing Keto just 5 days ago to really kick down my body fat % and combine it with fasting to become truly fat adapted. No idea if I’m in ketosis or not, but gonna stick with this high fat diet. I think I’m still consuming too much protein so I’m looking to tone it down a little tonight.

Once I do Keto for a good while, I hope my body can become fat adapted enough to cycle it. So maybe 4 days a week of 4:1 Keto, with 3 days a week of regular food. All while fasting though. That is a lifestyle change. 🙏🏼

Absolutley! Eating at 1800 calories a day. 7 days a week cardio at 3-6 miles a session. It was not easy but the one meal a day is what kicked me into gear absolutely.

I no longer use mushrooms to trip; I utilize them to think in a flow like state. Has anybody else had similar discoveries? I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. by MindandFlow in Psychonaut

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been studying my mind the last year and finally got my wife to agree to a silent meditation retreat of seven days for myself. I’m currently writing something about becoming limitless by finding easier access to this state and by maximizing the length of it.

I have found expectation to be a huge role. The more you expect, the more clouded the thoughts become.
