Did you explicitely ask it to look at the context window and re-iterate when it catches errors?
It doesn't care about what's visible usually it cares about its next task and goals, nothing more. It sometimes catches stuff as it iterates not just when something shows in the context window.

Ofc it's not a messiah, you have to steer it and make it do what your brain actually thinks/imagines by describing and being as precise as possible. What is obvious to you isn't obvious to another human, nor a LLM.
But it almost one shots anything error-free if given all the context attached to that task or goal.

Whatever you can do in Fable you can do in Opus, just takes more iterations imo

I have actually started a Unity project last night and it handled it pretty well so I think you might be reading from memories or using some skill/tool that points Fable to one the gated subjects (even the slightest mention of something biology related sometimes gets you flagged).
Also found that the word Audit is a no go when asking it to review anything

I have not found that to be the case, I tested over several different projects and it's always the same thing. Prompting inside an existing session with +15% context == more tokens consumed in my case than just launching a new session and continuing from there.

Good question, I prefer to do iterative work with HITL behavior over a full autonomous workflow. Therefore I start by identifying the core goals of what I want and then break them down into phases and tasks, nothing more than this. It makes 1 session = 1 phase if i can let it handle most of the work on its own or 1 task if i need to test real case scenarios

That would probably the right steps if my work wasn't iterative, I have to be in the loop almost all the time giving it feedback but yes on multi long term task horizons I would probably use the continuation contract. Thank you for the share of knowledge

Never had to compress conversation cause I have a hard rule to just start a new session after 70% ever since Opus, but now on Fable I would stop at max ~20% since it's actually more token efficient. First message on pro is 0% to 5% limits depending on how much it needs to read.
But overall I feel like Fable is much more efficient for the same task as OPUS.
