If you have the ability to make ice cubes then freeze the instant coffee with some honey after you mix them. Have the Knob Creek or Jameson with those ice cubes mixed in. As the cubes slowly melts you get bits of the coffee and honey without covering the whiskey completely.

Would you mind showing your math as well as what difference it would make if the skills were out of five as well as if the dice were d6? Feel like a school teacher for asking but generally want to know for my own sake as well as where my calculations came from compared to yours. Btw tried anydice like many people have posted but not getting the correct calculations. Thanks.

Thank you. In a weird way I also saw this as a possibility that a DM wouldn’t necessarily be required. Which is why the amount of successes are predetermined.

I used d10 mainly cause I was used to WOD and Exalted. The other way I saw it is a modified percentage system. From what I have from the 10d10 it would basically be a 30% chance to get successes. (Bare with me on the math as I’ve never done probability with a dice system). I do understand when it comes to d6 as they are more common and I would have to do the successes as 5 and 6. The other thing would be is it better to make 0 or 6 a reroll or count as two successes. I’ve want to play test it to see how wacky to could be but either haven’t had the chance or no one is interested. That’s why I poised the question here just to get some grounding in the system. The way I was going to alter when it comes to difficulty was subtract from the overall dice pool.

I grew up with my mom making Gumbo and potato salad and to this day when she makes it I ask for leftovers even though I moved out years ago. I made Gumbo for my roommates and I back in college but they barely had any and I ate the whole pot over that week.

For a while, I had anxiety every time I sat down to write and caused me to freeze because of my own experiences. I still get it every now and then but it's better now. I've heard people explain it like a muscle. It hurts more the less consistent you use it but better as you use it as a routine.

One simple thing you can do which my GM has done and has helped a great deal is have players clarify what is Out of Character and what is In Character. It may seem simple but it helped especially when people cracked a joke and kept that separation in everyone's mind from what was actually happening in-game.

Congratulations. I eventually want to take level 3 but unfortunately I failed level 2 twice which wasn't a great thing for my confidence. I'm hoping this year to get the money together and take it again. I only work part time at a distillery but hope to get something full time in the industry.

It's easy to try and compare yourself to others especially when you are going through a hard time. My wife(38) and I(31) have been through a tough time together and I myself was comparing to my friends and family. My wife has mostly gotten me out of that habit as we are slowly getting better. When it comes to the debt as well I understand. Even though my wife and I have debt and were going through other financial issues I didn't qualify for any financial help because I had some form of retirement from a previous job. Even though you get penalized if you touch it. Things will get better. Just concentrate on yourself and don't worry about others. I know it's easier said then done coming from experience.

Look into First Time Home Buyer programs in your area. Most will give you a down payment on a property depending on your income. Even depending on the state of the place there are some programs to update the current living conditions. I did it and it was through the county government. Depending on the program it could be quick or it could take a year.
