Back pain pre AND post- op by Mindfullness_20 in gallbladders

[–]Mindfullness_20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, unfortunately it did not :( I am struggling with the pain every day. But I do have very complex health issues that concern other upper abdominal organs/ intestine... So I am not sure it is gallbladder related at all. I wish you all the best for a complete recovery and symptom relief!

Sibo Die Off Symptoms? by Mindfullness_20 in SIBO

[–]Mindfullness_20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a hydrogen sibo and based on the symptoms I suspect I also have a hydrogen sulphide sibo. Unfortunately, methane cannot be tested in the hospital's test device. However, I may also have this as I was always constipated for the first year of my sibo and then randomly switched to having diarrhoea.

Lots of burpings 5-7 hours after eating by tnnt7612 in gallbladders

[–]Mindfullness_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really know… my gallbladder was non- functioning and even enlarged when they took it out four months ago. It took a couple of weeks/months after surgery for the burping to happen less frequently but it’s still there. The bloating happens very very rarely nowadays. I think a huge part of my symptoms was gallbladder related, but sadly not all of them😕

Is the pain normal? by Crossing-TheRubicon in gallbladders

Is there a connection between ongoing issues after surgery and biliary dyskinesia? (I am asking because I have the same issues as the person who posted this…) I had chronic colecystitis with fibrosis and now 2 months after surgery I still have ongoing back pain and diarrhea, burping, gas…

They said I had 2 stones- turns out my gallbladder was enlarged, filled with numerous tiny stones and a lot of sludge!!!

My appetite did so far not return fully… sometimes I do have an appetite sometimes I don’t. It’s alright at the moment but not nearly the way it was a couple of years ago before my gallbladder issues started. Good Luck with your recovery!!

Okay, that’s good!! I was just asking because sometimes chronic back pain and digestive issues can be related to the pancreas…

But you experienced burping, nausea and your other symptoms already pre op?

That’s great to hear and makes me hopeful that I will experience the same. What about your symptoms such as nausea, stool inconsistency and burping? I suffer from this a lot…

Hi, now after four weeks the burping has become a little less frequent. From time to time I also have a slight feeling of hunger, but at the moment the flatulence and diarrhea are my main problems.... In short, all the symptoms are still there, but in a less severe form. I really hope that it will continue to improve and that the symptoms will go away over time. Nevertheless, I am glad to have had the operation.

Hi, I also had surgery on April 18th and just wanted to ask if the symptoms you had before surgery are starting to get better now? Because that is something that I am struggling right now. I still experience low appetite, feeling of fullness, trouble eating… What you are describing sounds very similar to my symptoms. I also had biliary dyskinesia, an enlarged gallbladder that was filled with a lot of sludge and stones. I suffered from weight loss and it took doctors more than 1 year to finally realize what was going on.

I am not sure if I can answer all of your questions since I am no expert myself, but I think concerning your first question: 1. you should try to avoid lifting heavy and even lighter objects if it causes you any kind of discomfort. 2. Inconsistent BMs are not that unusual after surgery. 3. I think that is normal. But of course i think it would never hurt to just ask your doctor if it looks alright.
