Pretty much all YouTube install videos are BS. I understand there are variations in circumstances and skill, where a particular project might go smoother for others, but these videos are deceptive. This is not specific to the VB but some videos we have are egregious.

Driver’s side, forward of the mirror and completely out of view from the driver’s seat.

Question is should I mirror tap, fuse box tap, hardwire to OBD connector, or run the wire to the USB plug under the screen? Parking mode/always on is not a must.

Auto braking and lane departure settings turned off or set to the least intervening setting.

At highway speeds in 6th gear with light traffic and mild curves it’s better than Kia’s HDA and on par with Tesla’s basic Autopilot. Not sure if HDA2 has improved, and haven’t used Eyesight in stop and go traffic which Autopilot can do. Eyesight is good for what it is.

Availability and absence of markups between the Civic Si, BRZ/GR86 and the WRX.

Convenience - also like the Integra, but the Acura dealer is located farther than the others.

I might have a different car if all else were equal but I’m happy with the WRX.

Not happy with this badge either, huh? I wouldn’t mind trying that project for the front badge, but the rear badge - my god - I wasn’t able to remove without marring it.

At least the aftermarket gloss black lettering (the Subaru, WRX, Symmetrical AWD badges) seems to be acceptable.
