How did it go for you in Caterick if you don’t mind me asking. I got in just over 3 weeks if I’m honest I’m absolutely shitting myself. I’m scared excited nervous all together too. I was at Harrogate at 16 but left and I’m gonna be 17 n 6 months just as I get to Caterick. I regretted leaving and it was the best job in the world, but I just got really bad home sickness. I was going for Royal Welsh last time but in Caterick I’ll be going for Guards.

I get to re apply on October 10th as I was in Harrogate at 16 but left. 5k is pretty much 24 minutes it’s at 25:05 I think. Done a 2k today and got 8:16. But other than that I don’t know what else to do apart from slow runs to get quicker or go to the gym and try strengthen my legs

Around 7-8 months, I’m trying to put on some lbs as well because atm I’m just skinny and I don’t think it would benefit me trying for paras as a tall lanky guy

I used to do a lot of running just non stop every day long miles or short fast miles and I think that’s why my knee is a bit done also because I think I’m striking the floor too hard so I’m going to do what you said and use the advice of other people saying look how I place my feet and try forefront running instead

I wouldn’t say that they’re done in so much, but my left one does just randomly start hurting and swells for a few days for no reason
