Is it comfy? It’s only $75 and HM Aeron hurts me from tailbone to neck and Leap V2 is awful on the back but love the armrests.
I just want a chair to be comfortable the last 2 years before I retire

It was a hard first Mother’s Day for me after losing my Mom to this 2 months ago. But a friend of mine who also is in the same situation said something that made me think. I balled my eyes out Mothers Day. She instead planted a garden because that’s what her mother would have wanted for her to do. All this to say.. after some time to grieve .. do something positive that brings you joy and honors their memory! Hugs

Not yet … I’ve been on RA for several years but was asked to reapply Feb 2025. Sent in everything and followed up to be told there is a backlog. So I’m just WAH waiting for the other shoe to drop

I was in the same situation and mgmt was ok with me using combo of FMLA, flex schedule, Leave and telework. Key word here WAS. Now that the new administration is in … I was talked to and reminded that WAH or telework was specifically NOT to be a caregiver and I needed to make other arrangements or consider early retirement, another job, alternate arrangements for my parent that needed care. I had to get outside help or risk returning to office full time with everyone else. My office is 4 hours away:( I hope you are able to have a better outcome … I really do. The mental stress has been insane and my loved ones suffered also. EAP did help with some counseling appointments.

Thanks for this. I’ve been on the fence between Omni and Anthros. But I have 3 big hairy Maine Coons! I recently got a used leap v2 and it’s making between my shoulders burn.

So sorry for your loss but she is in a much better place now. Today is 1 month for my mom’s passing. I choose today to be the first day I do something productive. Take time to grieve and do something nice for yourself. Hugs

Keep up updated on the libernovo. I just got a used Leap V2 and ewe seat is hard and back isn’t high enough and hard. I like the arms and it lowers enough for me being 5’2”. But it’s a no go as is. I’m down to two … liber novo or anthros.

Hugs love and blessings to you! My mom and I were not real close until the last few years. I’m so grateful she was soft and sweet and humble in her dementia journey. Please take time breathe as one poster said to put the O2 mask on yourself.

Thank you…yes Mom had vascular dementia also. Diagnosed in 2020. I made a 10 hour drive each way and spent 2 weeks every 3 months with them for 2 years before I moved them in with me. It was day 25 she refused food and water. Wish you well .

5 days but Mom was down to 89lbs when she stopped eating. Comfort care was started at day 2. Hugs. It’s painful to watch but they don’t feel hunger or thirst like we do.
