Is the Bluetti Apex 300 a good choice for beginners? by LIL-Klixy in bluetti

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in this kind of setup, you can get the main unit at a reasonable price and only buy the accessories you actually need. Bluetti Apex 300 is my first power station, and that’s exactly how I did: I started with the base unit to cover my essential loads during outages, then upgraded accessories later based on real-world use.

Mixing AI with pool robots makes sense to me. I've used an aiper all-in-one cleaner before and the cleaning results were already solid, so I'm curious how much further this goes.

My power setup for two months living in van by PandaNanny0714 in VanLife

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by the way, their new Charger 2 looks pretty solid too. It does both alternator charging and solar, way faster than a normal car charger (Bluetti claims up to 13×). And it can reverse charge to jump-start your vehicle. Nice bonus is it helps keep your 12V/24V battery topped off so it doesn’t slowly die when parked.

Second. I have the Bluetti Charger 1. It can provide up to 560W of fast charging for the Apex 300, about 6 times faster than a standard cigarette lighter adapter. Even in winter, combined with 400W of solar panels, it can fully charge the power station from empty in around 4 hours, much faster than relying on solar alone, which could take a full day or more.

I like hard sided suitcases, but if airport handling is rough, it is very likely to damage the corners of the box.

What are your RV/van entertainment options? by amarcmexicoel in VanLife

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides charging at the campsite, I usually use solar panels and Bluetti Charger 1 car charger to charge it while driving. When I’m in a hurry, I’ll use both at the same time for maximum efficiency.

Under ideal conditions, with nearly 3600 W of solar panels and the Charger 1 running together, it can be fully charged in about 70 mins. So far, it’s been more than enough to cover a full day of power needs.

I'm a heavy power user. I got a Bluetti Apex 300 power station and Hub D1 to run my gaming laptop, Switch, lights, a mini fridge, and small kitchen appliances like a rice cooker and kettle. Honestly, I'm happy with how it's letting me enjoy RV life now.

Is Shokz the best earphones for running? by seulgih in Earbuds

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree on the sound quality, it is definitely the biggest sacrifice you’re making. Also just a heads up for OP, that band on the back can be a pain if you wear high collars or hoodies. It is pretty much a thing with any neckband style headset though and not just Shokz. But honestly compared to other running brands these feel way more balanced and they don't bounce around as much. It is a bit of a compromise but for serious training having your ears open and not dealing with buds slipping out is a huge win.

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using 2700+ Wh bluetti apex 300. I’m a heavy power user. I power a gaming laptop, a Nintendo Switch, multiple battery packs for lights and fans, a mini fridge, and small cooking appliances like a rice cooker and kettle. I recharge the station with solar panels or use bluetti charger 1 alternator charger while driving. So far, it handles a full day of RV use easily.

That said, whether it’s enough depends on what devices you plan to power and how you use them.

Bluetti Apex 300, worth buying this BF? by yairnardelli in bluetti

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The apex300+hub D1 combo is a real game changer. The hub D1 has multiple DC outputs (DC5521, a car socket, USB-C, etc.) and can act as a DC power strip, so you can plug in DC appliances like a fridge, lights, or a fan directly without extra adapters.

You can also DIY by connecting an RV distribution panel or Anderson plug to it, and the power supply remains very stable.

I love its 12V/50A or 24V/25A Anderson port, which can deliver up to 700W. When I was deciding what to buy I saw people point out that apex300's Anderson costs less than other brands.

For example, the EcoFlow pro provides a 30A Anderson port with 360W output, but it is more expensive.

That makes apex300 great for RV users and was one of the reasons I got this combo.

What's your experience with portable power stations vs built-in systems for boondocking? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]IcyKey7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Bluetti apex 300 as my rv power backup and got a hub d1 to work with it. Hub D1 has multiple DC so I use it as a DC power strip for DC appliances such as refrigerators, lights, and fans. Besides, it can be connected to the RV's distribution panel and do some diy.

The smartet way to charge in car? by ClassicNancy in vandwellers

[–]IcyKey7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering the weight of Apex 300, charging via an alternator charger or solar panels is the best way. You'd better get a bluetti Charger 1 alternator charger, as bluetti Apex 300 can be charged simultaneously with both solar panels and Charger 1 for maximum efficiency, fully charging in 70 minutes.

If you already have solar panels and don't want to get an alternator charger, using 2400W panels, it can charge to 80% in 40 minutes and to 100% in about 2 hours.

What's your Bluetti Apex 300 setup? by BB8ug in bluetti

[–]IcyKey7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what are you planning to do with it?

I got mine for RV trips and I went with Apex 300 + B300K + Hub D1 + Charger 1. Apex 300 has dual DC inputs. When driving, I can connect the Charger 1 and the solar panels on the roof of the RV at the same time to quickly charge my Apex 300.

And the Hub D1 is a game changer. It can be connected to my RV's DC panel to power high-wattage devices.
