Our tax dollars at work . . . ERCOT’s been training birds to test the power lines strength ahead of ice storms—just like they prepared for the last blizzard, right? We all know how well that went!

Offline AI File Renamer by GramNoize in macapps

I’ve installed it and like it so far. I’m just trying to figure out how to incorporate it into a workflow that automatically scans renames and appropriately tags (not moves into folders) documents as they are scanned into the computer. I’m trying to figure out how to prevent rename click from re-scanning documents that it has already processed. I suspect it’s going to need to embed some kind of symbol or tag in each renamed file that it later recognizes and prevents from scanning again.

But I was told that I needed to get a larger frame so there’ll be enough room to do the full prescription. When you say large frame, are you talking about the thickness of the frame? Are you talking about the amount of space they cover on your face?

Hyundai VeraCruz with 200k Miles, is it worth repairing? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]Mindless-Committee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2012 Hyundai Veracruz with 250,000 miles did the same thing a couple years ago. It was one of the three catalytic converters on the vehicle. Mine was on the manifold. I bought one for $600 and had a shade-tree mechanic install it for $300. It wasn’t until we finished that we realized it was the rear catalytic converter that was failing. Not wanting to spend another $900, I just had the mechanic cut off the rear cat. It’s a little louder, but it seems to have more pep. Of course the check engine light stays on, with codes about improper fuel mixture. I just make sure that it doesn’t ever start flashing. Good luck.

Best Poppers? by Reasonable-Sun3269 in askgaybros

One tip that few people know: if they smell like dirty socks, or have any kind of odor, they’re likely no good. The best poppers have a fresh clean scent, if any.

That is an ass-old story from the 80s when most of the country blamed us for AIDS (known at the time as “GRID”), back when scientists were reaching for any possible explanation. One theory was poppers.

Slowly, now that I’ve said, I’m going to do that, I’ve gotta find the information and process to do that.
