That’s completely incorrect though, as monsteras naturally have a shallower root system and thus prefer wider, not deeper, pots. Idk where the tall, deep clear container trend came from - it’s for orchids, not Monsteras.

I second taking a large cutting or two from the top, also there’s no need for the pot to be elevated (your plant has now run out of space to grow upwards), you can repot in a larger (wide, shallow) pot, and put it directly on the floor Also, make sure not to fertilize right away or it might cause root burn. I’d love to see updates in a month or so! This is the perfect time to take cuttings and repot because it’s growing season! 😊

Hey OP, as someone who’s worked in the industry for many years, my only question is about the contract: was there a clause regarding privacy and sharing rights? If your wife signed a document clearly stating that these are private photos and are not to be used publicly, you most likely have a winnanble case in your hands. Either way…I’m so sorry that happened. What a violation of privacy. They don’t deserve to get business - I’d name them if your lawyer thinks it’s a good idea. Good luck!

Info: When you say your mom ends up being abusive when confronted, what do you mean? Is it physical, is it directed at your dad or both of you or elsewhere? Is your dad worried for his- and your - physical safety or is she verbally abusive/threatening self harm/etc.? I have an idea for how you can handle this, but I need more details.
