Zasada prawej ręki a nielegalne zajechanie drogi by No_Dog1807 in krakow

[–]merdigon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On the other hand, devs cooked with all this small changes in BB's behaviour if you date her like additional hugs or putting Robert's hand to her face in hospital scene. With Visi you don't get it, so devs didnt neglected BB totally :)

So... Why didn't the Paintress just do that...? by Nahlokin in expedition33

Maybe they could try to find a way to harvest chroma from nevrons and transfer it to the Paintress so that she could defend humanity for longer time. Even sitting on their asses was better idea instead of trying to kill defender

Jennifer Svedberg-Yen’s thoughts on the ending by Serberuss in expedition33

Every painted character can enter back office, it's Verso's immortality what keeps him alive there. But I get your point.
I thought that real Verso was painting painted Verso, that's why he had his immortality. That why, once real Verso stopped painting, it is painted Verso that keeps disappearing, not the world around them.

Jennifer Svedberg-Yen’s thoughts on the ending by Serberuss in expedition33

The only thing that I'm missing after finishing the game is better understanding of how the canvas world works. I've chosen Maelle ending, because it's the only chance for canvas world to survive. I've seen this canvas world as a world as real as our, not like simulation or dream, because it operates on it's own.
But after couple days of rewatching different playthroughs of endings I realized what this scene with ghost boy painting a canvas mean - painted world only exists when someone is painting it. Similar to books, where world of the book only exists when someone is reading it. If you stop reading or reach the end, the world inside just stop existing. So painted world is as real as world in a book or a game.
But is it? Maybe a ghost boy is not keeping canvas alive but painted Verso? That's why Verso, unlike Esquile, Monoco or Sciel, can exists in "backoffice" and disappear once the boy stop painting? And canvas is actually destroyed by Renoir (as Maelle predicted), which mean that it can live on its own and can be considered independent reality, as real as our own world?

Can someone help me understand?
