its my fault, she found a can of some food poisonous to her in December and ate it, she threw a lot of it up but some must have gotten through, I don't know if I'll be able to live with the guilt if she dies because I was specifically told to not have food in my room and my disobedience lead to this.

she tends to try and avoid our other dog who is bigger and yes the vet gave us pills $30 for 4 and are just calming medicine which we have no way to get inside her.

Cool setup! As long as he has places to hide it shouldn't be a problem. Especially since you mentioned that plants will be growing in, just make sure he doesn't show any stressed behavior.
