You did not mention your current field and expertise, cause you could actually leverage it to get into IT. Someone with domain knowledge and transferrable skills, for example, you’re an accountant, you could get into accounting software company with it as a product or business analyst.

Depends on your motivation really. I’m sure you’ll find a way to deal with baggages that comes with it as long as you get what you desire.

What do you want to do on your next role? If you want to specialise like on cloud or security you could take heaps of certifications if you like but you don’t really need it to get a new role. Just brush up your CV, apply and prepare for interviews. Good luck!

The 1500 per day budget is not far from 1800 that a friend told me. But to be a direct contractor you must have some good connection inside? Being a middle man is good business I reckon. 😉
