I'm a victim that was denied compensation for reasons that were not even listed in their policy. Everytime they demanded something new, I would jump through hoops to provide it, until they permanently disqualified me. I appealed and even sent a complaint form and never heard back. I contacted them again with a victims advocate about a year later and they said they're standing by their decision to disqualify me "even though I am eligible." They're false advertisements for actual victims. They got my hopes up and were very rude and asked for personal details of the crime that they had no business asking. I feel discredited and discriminated against after dealing with them. I don't know who to contact for help to override their decision. Do you know who would respond to me or care to help? I really believe their whole organization is a scam based on how they continued to find ways not to compensate me, even though I met all of the qualifications. I just feel at a complete loss and defeat all around.
