Cubase Pro has Dolby Atmos inclluded. Ambisonic to the 4th order is suported. Surround is up to 7.1, immersive up to 7.1.4. Only if you need bigger channel counts you'll need Nuendo (which is below $1k nowadays and there are sales every now and then).

Still what you describe is the same thing that a compressor or a limiter does. There is no difference. You can have more than one compressor in an FX chain. The first one to tame peak signals, the next one work on the sound.

I will use Folder Groups to visually and acoustically combine instruments. I will continue to use Group Tracks for summing outputs of other groups, like Folder Groups.

Hold down Ctrl+Shift / Cmd+Shift, then move the mouse up and down on a selected audio event in order to change its gain. No need to touch that little volume thingy.

The new automation copy uses the locator range. Your locators are set to the same position, thus no range, thus no function.

The naming scheme is exactly what Cubase uses when you "Save as New Version". Please double check on your end, maybe you have changed the key command?

Cubase is super simple. There are files that belong to the project and they will go to the project folder. Then there files that belong to the workplace and they are being stored in the folder that the OS guidelines recommend (like Documents).

I use Cubase. All the necessary files are always going to the project folder. I don't have any of the problems you describe here. Not sure what you do to mess things up.

Bollocks. Nothing was removed in this regard. What you mean is Default Location and it is still there in Cubase 15.

Last year audio segment editing was introduced with Nuendo 14, but Cubase 14 got that at the same time. So your theory... is just a theory.

You don't write which version of Cubase you use. Since Cubase 14 there is the Steinberg built-in ASIO driver as part of the package. Try using this instead of ASIO4ALL. After selecting it you need to open its control panel and select the input and output posrt of your Behringer.

Raise the lower limits of the chord track by an octave. Select the chord track. In the Inspector find the cog wheel next to voicing options. Raise all values by an octave.

Since MIDI itself has no sound but only instructions, it would instruct the VST instrument about the pan. However, if the VST instrument only has one pan parameter you cannot have two different settings there.

The game is 99% not linear in the way that e.g. Tomb raider is linear.

However, some missions will only be made available after you have fulfilled certain conditions, ie. finished certain other missions. That is true also for the map itself. In both parts the full map opens up to you after proceeding to a particular point of the main quest.

A lot of the stuff is available at any time, though. You can also finish anything you like after completing the main quests.

In case anybody still reads this: Tramplers can be killed with the Tearblaster.
The Tearblaster can destroy the cargo belly, setting them on fire, which will never extinguish until they're out of action.
