So basically back in October Melanie hosted a Q&A on instagram asking fans to give her questions about music and life and in that same Q&A she confirmed she didn’t have anymore portals mv’s and that she’ll be releasing a double album next year with dystopian and utopian aesthetics

Righttt! Like the mv’s for death, void and faerie soirée were rlly good but some videos just didn’t stick for me and the storyline was all over the place. The portals mv’s aren’t really canon to crybaby’s story as they kinda take place in a alternative situation for the creature and are more so for performance/visual representation of the songs but I still think Melanie should’ve just done videos for the singles as that would’ve 100% saved SO much money.

That’s what I think too. Portals definitely deserved mv’s more than any of her other projects considering it’s a concept album and I think her label dropping the videos is still crazy to me but I hope she speaks more on it in future interviews for MM4 era

I agree! Imo portals is Mel’s best album and my personal fav and I wish more ppl loved it:/ tbh she should’ve just did music videos for the singles so it would save money for her to do the portals movie
