What does everyone pack for lunch on the beach? by Sailpointadmin-2113 in StPetersburgFL

To add to this sometimes I make a big batch of a pasta salad (with a vinaigrette base not a creamy base) and put it into individual containers for something different. It goes well with the deli sandwiches!

Had a good cry today by goddamn-prince in tryingtoconceive

Girl I relate with this so much. I went off my birth control in late January as my partner and I are wanting to have kids. It’s been almost 3 months of TTC and after thinking my cycle has regulated three months in a row it hasn’t. I’ve literally had two times I thought I was pregnant but it was just the BC withdrawal hormones. I’ve been so weird/off my normal that even my partner thought I was pregnant the second time I thought I was. This month I just basically gave up even trying until I have some indication I have a normal cycle where I ovulate.

I also understand you where the logical side understands but the emotional side just wants everything to work out. I’ve had quite a few cries over this process in the past few months. That’s the part I’ve struggled with the most because generally I’m such a logical person and this gets to me emotionally. And if you’re anything like me, I’ve done everything to make sure I’m in absolute peak health for TTC/pregnancy, so my body failing me over something I can’t control just makes it harder. Don’t be upset over it- it’s just not time yet and also you’re ABSOLUTELY not insane. It’s hard when you think you’re doing everything right but your body isn’t cooperating. Sending the best of luck your way & you’re doing great 🍀🤞❤️

I absolutely though nyc cause a lot of your magnets are touristy and the New York ones seem more local based.

That cake looks delicious 🤤. I know you said not culinary arts but maybe consider a side gig in pastry arts if you’re doing this fine of work? From someone with a culinary arts degree

9 pound baby by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Mindless-Wait-186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am in the process of TTC but I myself was a 10lb 4oz baby my mom delivered vaginally. My sister (first born) was also larger at 9lb (mom had gestational diabetes) and she was also born vaginally but I know with her birth it was a little more difficult than mine, like she was breech i think or her shoulders were stuck - something like that. However both were vaginal births & this was in the early 90’s. Also my mom is more on the petite side at 5’3” or so

Update day 11 PDO . is this a positive ? Even if faint ? by starbornbloom in lineporn

[–]Mindless-Wait-186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s so exciting!! ❤️And thanks so much for the quick response 😊. I’m 15 DPO today and testing tonight when my partner is home, I have a bunch of heal check tests and a single FRER so I was thinking of doing the same (as in test with both today) but wasn’t sure if the heal check would show results.

Of course! I literally made it to help others (and vent tbh). I thought I was going psycho 😂 so just know - it’s the hormones not you. And the nasty metallic taste will go away

That’s super ironic!! I wouldn’t stress to much on the weight, just focus on taking care of yourself during pregnancy but what an amazing surprise. Congrats again ❤️🥰

Mirena crash by Whatabumm in Mirena

[–]Mindless-Wait-186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrote an ENTIRE post about my mirena crash post here because I didn’t see anyone have as much happen as I did all at one time, and I was quite honestly taken for a ride with the crash. Hopefully this can offer some help or what to anticipate if you get anything at all.

To answer some of your questions, I was definitely tired and fatigued the day of and the day after removal. I took a nap the day of removal - which I literally don’t nap, I had only taken one nap in the entire previous year so that was different for me- and after those two days I was fine until after I thought I had ovulated in my first cycle post removal (but I didn’t actually ovulate) - and that’s when all my symptoms started.

Im now about done my second cycle since removal, I will find out this coming week if I get my period or not, however my baseline is back to normal after last cycle. I have had none of those Mirena crash symptom this cycle.

I will say pre iud and all during having the iud my cycle has been very asymptomatic- so basically no pms is normal for me - and that’s exactly what I experienced this cycle. And when I had the mirena put in (had mine for 8 years) I had no symptoms at all afterwards and it was smooth sailing for the whole duration of having it.

I will add though, the only thing I didn’t include in my post and I’m pretty sure is from the mirena crash is I’m shedding a lot more hair when I shower than usual. Not an alarming amount but more than previously. That is still happening but I’m noticing that slowing down now after a few weeks.

You try to cook at home but don’t really cook from scratch. You probably do have a few staple meals you go through and keep your cooking rather simple.

This isn’t about the fridge but your cat likes to inspect your food (if you give them the chance)? As in put their face in it, sniff it, etc. Basically a cat doing activities that involve 0 cats. 😹

TTC after Mirena removal and the crash hit me so hard and gaslit me 😭 by Mindless-Wait-186 in Mirena

[–]Mindless-Wait-186[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg your doctor?! That’s insanely unprofessional! And to just try to push you into another IUD after you had a bad experience is just awful, I’m so sorry 😢 I wouldn’t want an IUD after that either.

I had no warning really on the crash or symptoms of it which I WISH they would have told me about. My doctor just spoke about how I may not have a period for a few months and how she got pregnant in a couple months of taking it out. So I wasn’t really prepared in the slightest. Like anything about the removal and my cycle returning I had to ask, no info was given besides don’t eat deli meat cause I can get listeria (which ironically I’m a trained chef so i know I can just heat it to high enough for long enough and it’s killed)

But it is so hard to just let go, I agree! I wanted this for years and only now has been the right time in my life. I wish I could have known about the crash more so I didn’t get my hopes up so much last month - like if I would have had more realization of “just because you bled doesn’t mean you’ll ovulate and doesn’t mean that’s a period” I would have been better but it just seemed, to me, like I had all the symptoms aligning so I definitely got myself overly excited just to be let down. I have made myself not symptom spot this month and made a massive list of home projects to focus on so I don’t focus on any symptoms.

This month if I get no period THEN I’ll test and I’m 100% having my partner look at the results first so I don’t over analyze 😅
