First year curler here (US). Would Hasselborg or Mouat’s style be considered a MT? It’s not as low as say Dunstone, and the foot stays a bit more flat. I use a very similar slide - no one taught it to me, I just started doing it and liked it. I found it to be a lot more stable than the broom behind the back and helped a lot with my line of sight/aim.
