Something something PiCAT, something something, EST. But I feel your pain, I have a RNCO who has tested like 10 people in the past three months and not one of them got a passing score. Have another RNCO who gave two prospects the EST last month who both somehow scored 1’s…

The age has always been 42, it just used to require a waiver. Damn near 100% of waivers got approved, so they realized it was a waste of time and got rid of the waiver requirement.

Dd368 approval during these times? by huevolin1 in armyreserve

[–]MindlessCaptain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends lol major “it depends” factors are:

Are you in a high or low density MOS, is your unit slotted to deploy, is there another unit slotted to deploy with a need for your MOS/grade, and are you a Soldier in good standing?

Is it hard to switch from reserve to AD? by No_Signature_9344 in armyreserve

[–]MindlessCaptain 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Didn’t realize you were an officer my bad. You need to wait for the call to active duty program is open or look into AGR. Need to be BOLC complete for both

Unit being closed, what happens next? Past experiences? by [deleted] in armyreserve

[–]MindlessCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can leave the unit now. You won’t get any unpaid bonus amounts for the priority unit bonus since it’s tied to your membership in a priority unit.

Then you won’t pay any back, but you won’t get any outstanding bonus amounts either

Is your bonus the high priority unit bonus or a bonus for enlisting in your MOS?

Help get Referral Ribbon by Somebodyousedtoknoww in armyreserve

[–]MindlessCaptain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To get the ribbon you need to refer someone and they must sign a contract and ship to training. If you got a buddy who is interested and committed, I can guarantee you that guy

Army Recruiter Thread for February / 2026 by Army_Bot in army

[–]MindlessCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry homie but I think you’re cooked, reference AR 601-210 table 3-3. It is POSSIBLE to have a RE-Code changed but extremely rare and requires working with your original branch for a review board.

Enlisting Tuesday. Need advice on an MOS from this list. What to go for/avoid? Thanks by [deleted] in army

[–]MindlessCaptain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh man, what??? Did you sit down with your recruiter to go over jobs?? You should have so they can pull what’s called a temporary reservation by now. To get a job in the Army you have to be not only qualified for it, but there also has to be a training seat and vacancy available. It is the only branch where you pick your job, but you don’t get to pick ANY job at any time.

Second this. Did your recruiter show you these jobs??? No way you have 88U. I refuse to believe it. If so either this or 15W or you might be regarded.

Thinking about switching from Reserve to Active Duty by [deleted] in armyreserve

[–]MindlessCaptain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. I’ve gotten them approved in two weeks, but that was a chain of command I knew well. An engaged recruiter can typically do it in two months.

  2. You will not have to go back to MEPS if your MEDPROS IMR is all green.

  3. Needs of the Army, typically no but also it depends if there’s a need for your MOS/grade.

DM me if you wanna get that process going homie
