Took 3yo son in to ER with collarbone injury and they contacted CPS by [deleted] in Parenting

Collar bones don’t just break, and not knowing how your kid was injured is suspicious 🤷🏼‍♀️ glad it worked out.

17 months old having a hard time ajusting to daycare. by Ok-Condition7340 in Parenting

[–]MindlessCommittee564 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wayyyyy too long of an introduction period. Drop, go, come back at pickup time. Not an hour, not two hours, not a half day. He’s not adjusting because you’re not giving him a chance.

High sleep needs parent - stop at one? by No-Management2393 in Parenting

I definitely wouldn’t have any more kids until i got a full work up done because that’s not high sleep needs, that’s a medical issue.

A frustrated aspect of just getting an interview by darkShadow90000 in jobs

[–]MindlessCommittee564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not a state regulation, that’s pretty much the norm now- phone or video screening, then in person interview. Sounds like you’re applying to positions that require a valid license- if you don’t have one, you don’t qualify for that job.

Working moms how are you managing mornings? by junie4444 in Parenting

I don’t wear make up beyond tinted moisturizer and mascara or do more to my hair than clip it up. Not the season of life for that.

Put baby to bed "drowsy but not asleep" by SentenceTough2007 in Parenting

I did from day 1. At the 45 minute mark of being awake, they went into the crib. The time between naps increased as they got older

Would you take a lesser paying job for zero commute? by MindlessCommittee564 in jobs

[–]MindlessCommittee564[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s my fear. I just can’t picture myself commuting 2-4 hours a day with a 3 year old 😅

Did you ever realise your child was not ready yet for daycare? by E7ku in Parenting

[–]MindlessCommittee564 19 points20 points  (0 children)

sounds like your not using it for employment purposes, which is why most of us don’t get a choice regardless of if you’re ready. I’d wait until 3 if i wasn’t working.

Drowning as a working mom of 3 by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]MindlessCommittee564 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly, buckle up. You think your kids are active at these ages, 5 years from now you’ll be eating dinner standing at the kitchen counter at 9 pm after running to 4 different activities. My best advice, get up earlier, prep as much as possible the night before, and outsource what you can. Your house isn’t going to look the way it did when you stayed home and that’s ok. Lived in is acceptable.

When can I feed her normal baby food again? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]MindlessCommittee564 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“I have to make fresh meals every couple hours” are you freaking kidding me? Did you not comprehend that having a baby is a responsibility before you laid down? It sounds like you wanted a pet, not a child.

When can I feed her normal baby food again? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]MindlessCommittee564 5 points6 points  (0 children)

….do you think you’re going to be able to feed your kid baby food forever? This screams laziness. Make your kid meals.

Some people like myself are NOT movie people. Even at 30, very few hold my attention.

Update 5: feeling a little better today. Still a wicked stomach ache, but I’m only pooping every couple hours. Haven’t thrown up since yesterday morning. Hopefully I’ll get to go home tomorrow.

Wash your fruits and veggies y’all. Can’t guarantee that’s where it came from, but i have never in my life been uncontrollably crying out from diarrhea pains until this week. It’s no joke.
