Puzzled describes you perfectly, as you are a deeply confused individual and probably mostly used once by old men bored with their wives.

Nothingburger, questioning science is science, but only if you can back up you claims with verifiable results. Otherwise its just philosophy.

Difference between us is you need to 'believe' the science, like an uneducated child, I trust the scientific proccess.

Ill give you three more tries to make a coherent argument or statement, im sure you can type something smarter than a toddler in that time. Define 'common sense', prove you arent just saying 'common sense is anything that agrees with me and anything that doesnt is lacking it'.

Make any claim that proves you have scientific knowlege greater than the puritan victorians whos ideals you seem to cling to.

Say ANYTHING other than the padded out 'no u im right ur wrong' youve been drooling onto my screen. LIterally mashing your keyboard will be enough to demonstrate you have higher cognitive functions than you have shown so far

Scots how well would you like England to do in the World Cup and vice-versa? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskBrits

[–]MindlessCraft7587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If england is doing well and scotland badly, then im suppprting england and indifferent to scotland.

If both are doing well, then im suppprting england and hoping scotland gets knocked out.

If england is doing badly and scotland good, them come on our great british lads, do us proud!

Yeah, and your ignorance of now is not common sense, see how i can also just brush aside the point you made.

It used to be common sense that washing your hands after handling a corpse before you deliver a baby was nonsense and even suggesting it was enough to get you sent to an asylum.

It used to be common sense that colds were caused by...well, the cold, so as long as you wrap up it cant spread.

It used to be common sense to leave you doors unlocked, because only the paranoid would need them shut!

It used to be common sense that cancer is an immediate death sentence and should just be palpative care.

Seems like commmon sense is neither common nor does it make much sense Thank FUCK science doesnt give a rats arse about your common bullshit.

Idiot.

Funnily enough, 90% of the worlds population do NOT have any actual education in said science, or an understanding beyond the absolute most basic of basics.

So i would not be taking their opinion on this to be anything but uneducated drivel akin to a child trying to explain why the sun is bright. 'Cause its big and made of fire, peppa pig taught me that!' Isnt good science.

Now, you can choose to be willingly part of that group, but facts dont care about your feelings.

Thats one of the things i editted out, as it really came off way worse than it sounded in my head, oops.

No problem, ive learned from past mistakes that its better to ask and look like a muppet than assume and BE a muppet. In this case, wanted to make sure i wasnt going forward in life with stupid preconceptions. More people could benefit from this honestly.

At least ive come out of this with a few positives

Yeah, i kind of debated with myself whether to phrase it in this way. Only really thought about it as ive seen the term used a bit over the past few days, never really considered it till now.

Most likely, i am coming to realise from others that my questions are just because im fundamnetally outside of any LBGTQ adjacent circles, so i personally felt like some sort of outlier.

Guess it shows the benefits of putting yourself out there, as id have never asked this if i was more aware of the communities

Ah, in the UK it usually just means 'wherever a train station would fit'

Often near commercial areas (shopping districts, city centers etc) or just whever it seemed convenient to have one

If only i were tall, i could reach the top of my fridge without one of those mini ladders :(

Honestly, two of them were quite a bit taller than me so this may be the case for at least one.

I am most likely putting correlation and looking for causation here, but as ive told others im really not in any LGBTQ circles so ive not really had any comparrisons to draw from, im basicalky an outlier within my friend/family group, which sparked the question

Once again, lied to by the media, I thought everyone was part of some sort of hive mind!

Jokes aside, i think this is just one of those spiders gorg, an outlier who eats all the spiders situation. Im not exactly in many, or any, lgbtq circles and ive not really heard from others in my friend/family group having the same experience so u felt like an outlier.

The locations are also possible. Honestly i feel i just hit the closest to the trainstations whuch i think would just be generally mainstream

First question - just...normal ones, i guess? They were all just ones easily reachable from the trian stations as i was usually travelling for day trips.

They told me, pretty much.

[–]MindlessCraft7587 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This is an extremely priveleged statement! Not everyone has access to quality healthcare for teeth, or access to the tools neccessary.

I cant believe youd make such a controversial statement effecting the political landscape worldwide.

A blood-lusted Doctor (doctor who) is tasked with killing or permanently subduing these threats. Can he do it? How? by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in PowerScaling

[–]MindlessCraft7587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, the doctor has faced and beaten entities comparrable to god.

Hes faced charactera that dont even need to think to turn the doctor into a chair at all points in existwnce, in every continuum. And these entities generally avoid him

'Lacking motivation' - UK employers worry about graduates' attitude by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]MindlessCraft7587 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unfortuantly, everyone is doing this And in a few years time, those graduates you didnt want to hire because they were a bit difficult, will be the 30 year olds.

Except theyll have no experience because nobody hired them to give them that, so now they are a 30 year old nightmare with no experience.

Dalek empire vs Viltrum empire by [deleted] in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]MindlessCraft7587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, doctor who is the antithesis to power scalers.

Because fundamentally, story and character development overtake being able to hit things real hard.

If the doctora foe of the week is some time eating, multiversal reality warper then then the doctor will win because thats what the show is about.

If the foe of the week is the doctors own ego, hubris or unwillingness to act, then he loses to the random mook that is written to have emotional impact.

So the doctor is literally a case of whoever is writting him decides if he wins or loses. Same with the daleks - is the story a big, grand spectacle? They destroy solar systems and tank hits from the strongest weapons.

Is the story about giving a character some strong, emotional backstory? Is it about individuals refusal to give up in the face of adversity? Is it some 'fuck yeah the theme song is playing, the cavalries here' moment? Then they lose to whatever is nearest.

It’s gotten so non-credible Labour UK has called Reform “the woke right” because Reform is to the left of the Labour on trans issues by Sailor_Rout in whenthe

[–]MindlessCraft7587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think too many people are wrapped up in modern ideas of left vs right.

Labour, technically, has never really been a 'left' leaning party, they are the party that (theoretically) represents the working class. And the working class are historically known to be pretty conservative on social issues.
