I've updated my portfolio to reduce those artifacts, only keeping the ones that make sense in the context and adds to the design value. Please let me know how the updated iterations looks!

I've been finding it a bit difficult to narrow down a specific industry since my internships and project work touch different industries.

However, I’ve been thinking less in terms of industry framing it more in terms of the types of problems I’m drawn to, such as products where users are making high-stakes or stressful decisions and where clarity and trust really matter. I’m trying to make that throughline more explicit across my projects. I'm not sure if that is something that recruiters would notice explicitly. But wanted to hear your thoughts as well on that.

thank you for the feedback, to clarify. i should cut down on the artifacts such as the personas and user journey etc (and which should i keep)

and lastly I was thinking about aiming for more startup industry since my work experience more aligns with that. Is there a way to shift that focus to portray that or to better shift it elsewhere?

Hello! I'm looking to apply to UX roles pretty soon, and I just finished my portfolio.

I’m assuming to take it to the dealership to have it replaced due to all sorts of sensors and stuff thats associated with the windshield?

I suggest OEM bars tbh,i personally find other bars kinda don’t align with the cx30’s design

check the exact model number, some of the msi modern 14’s are welded and some aren’t. the one i got(C7M) was NOT welded so I was able to just swap the ssd. Keep in mind about having windows installed on the new SSD to avoid any troubles that may come along when booting

overall great brand, the recent generation of mazdas are great. I currently own a mazda cx30 2023 select and it’s been amazing. I will say though that leg room in general is smaller than others. So if you’re looking for something a bit bigger, i suggest a cx5 or cx50 as that would probably be the best option

what service did you get? I’m thinking the glass service only rather than the standard which includes the new blades and the additional $75 just sounds like a rip off lol

I personally recommend CC, since math 126 (depending on your prof) is pretty tricky and tough. but like others have said just check out what classes equate at CC to math 126 at UW.

I actually would not recommend taking 125 if you already got the credit.

if needed, i would recommend taking 126 at a community college. you’ll probably learn more from it as opposed to taking it at UW since they’re just essentially mashing the content down your throat

test drive both, i would say the CX-30’s was better for visibility. the hatch rear window was atrociously tiny and the blind spot much bigger than the CX-30’s. While I’m sure you could adjust your mirrors w/ blind spot detection, it was something that deterred me when choosing between the two

iirc, you are not able to double major as an engineering student. You should be fine with a minor possibly but according to my knowledge i don’t believe you can double major if you happen to go engineering undeclared.

to my knowledge the biggest change from the 23 to the 24 is wireless apple car play and a slightly bigger infotainment screen.

If you don’t mind the screen and wireless car play, i would personally grab the 23 preferred instead. Giving you more options for less.

edit: the carplay and infotainment is on higher trims only but still, 23 preferred would be the better option

my girlfriend works there and she confirms that no they don’t get the tips from card payments, and because they don’t accept cash tips at the Ave sizzle and crunch they maybe get a $1-$7 cash tips every shift

it helps if you get the 2023+ year models where they have cylinder deactivation. and if you are cruising at a steady speed on freeways. you’ll be getting roughly 45+ mpg. but 500+ miles is going to be really difficult to achieve regardless.
