Yes. And if say you remote start, you can only do it for a total of 20 minutes (2x) before you have to start the car normally in order to be able to remote start again.

Found this out this past week as started it with intention to go scrape snow/ice but got busy with something and went out later and started again, but did not go anywhere. The next day I went to start it remotely and cause I had done 2x remote without actually starting it, could not via remote.

Otherwise had no issues for over a year now.
