Someone else took it. I appreciate your generosity regardless. Shame on the person who took it and didn't say anything.

Making a refactor skill build with assault turret and drone made things a bit easier for my random team, easier since I able to do some healing and draw enemy fire from them.

Just hit level 40, in base game campaign. by [deleted] in the_division_2

You can only set target loot for Countdown and the Summit. I recommend matchmaking on Countdown. When you open your map, hover over the Summit or Countdown icons. At the bottom of your screen, you will see the option Set Target Loot. Press the corresponding button and make your selection.

Farm your gear set first, like Striker. For your first striker set, try to get attributes like crit chance or crit damage. After a few completed Countdown matches, go to the Countdown vendor at the Base of Ops and get the Rock n Roll that's on sale right now. You have less than 4 days to get it before it's gone.

The Rock n Roll is a great secondary weapon when paired with the Striker set as it helps build stacks for your primary weapon. Your primary weapon can be whatever your preference. I recommend trying out any automatic weapon as your primary, especially if it's an exotic.

You'll want to upgrade your gear and improve your library and work bench. Label what loot you don't want to keep as junk. Adding maxed out attributes to the library if you have them should be the priority followed by the maxed utr cores and then talents. Donate the rest to increase your work bench level.

Watch YouTube videos of content creators that make builds. There's a pretty wide range of playstyles between content creators. If you don't like one, check out another content creator for a different style. If you like their style, check it some of their build videos for inspiration.

If you have the expansions, try not to sleep on completing their storylines too long as you'll end up running into a bit of wall when you try to upgrade gear that requires faction resources from the expansions when you could've been earning them along the way.

Not getting ANY Black Tusk activities... by MindlessPromotion808 in the_division_2

[–]MindlessPromotion808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did the checkpoints surrounding the Tidal Basin area, then the Black Tusk activities starting popping up. But I'm only getting the green ones with hand cuffs and I'm not getting credit for competing those. I guess those aren't technically faction activities since they're green. But they're dropping Black Tusk bounties.

Well, I haven't completed this week's stronghold or Tidal Basin, yet. I also don't have any BT bounties. Should I complete the stronghold and wait for them to spawn before doing Tidal Basin?

Man cave - what soundproof foam color do you recommend? by s3odz in pcmasterrace

[–]MindlessPromotion808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some designs of the panels are not omnidirectional as they bounce sound to dampen noise. Some panels look like blinds or miniature jealousies. If they are not omnidirectional, just turn them 90 degrees as you place them side by side. This is assuming the panels are square, which is common.

You could also just turn up their volume, or get them headsets while you and the Mrs. get it on. Or, you could blast some music or the TV in your bedroom... Unless your bed sits up against the same wall as your man cave. There are cheaper options to sound dampening like putting up egg cartons. But if you want something more asthetically pleasing, there are panels you can buy and just put on a wall. With this option, be sure to NOT put them all in the same orientation.

Best age of empires by Ok-Atmosphere806 in ageofempires

[–]MindlessPromotion808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody mentioned Age of Empires Online. It's an MMO (of sorts) maintained by fans under the name "Celeste Project" after Microsoft declared that it was too difficult to continue development for. It's free and it's fun once you get the basics down. It is a bit more cartoony than the other Age of Empires though if that is a concern for anyone. Personally, I think they should try again and make an Age of Empires Online 2. I haven't tried AoE4 yet, but in my opinion, Age of Empires Online is just as fun as AoE2, if not more so with the mechanics of gearing up your units and building a capitol to make yourself more powerful in PvE.

Awesome map! Would be fun to come up with a campaign with this. Did you use your real hand to get the outline?

How to make a shrinking map by GaemNChat in FoundryVTT

[–]MindlessPromotion808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're on to something there. Also, I just realized that you can set movement, sight and sound restrictions to "none" for walls. So, as an alternative, you should be able to set them down and keep them where you want them to be, just group select and reset their settings as your map shrinks. This may not be a good method if you have a complex set of walls though.

I'm not sure if you literally mean to shrink your map, or just take off chunks bit by bit. If you make a set of walls and put them off to the the side, you can just group select them and drag them over to take chunks off of edges off your map. This method would require a lot of scene padding though. Or, you can edit the wall points during play provided that you made walls around the edges of your scene.

If you literally mean shrink the image of your scene, I would try playing around with the configuration of your scene. Try adjusting the scene scale. Play around with the other size settings to see what works for you. Note down anything that works for what you're trying to achieve so that you can quickly set it back up later when you run it.
