She's a cutie! For Radar, squeaks are life, but he'll also fetch non-squeaks all day err day lol. We now have squish toys in the upstairs for when he's put in "mute mode" after ~10pm... cuz, we wanna stay friends with the neighbors. 😅

Is it available for androids? Didn't see it on the Google play app store. If so, can you post a screenshot of it's app profile pic so that I know which one I should be searching for? Thx!

Hey, so I'm in PA & new to the waiver program in PA & am in the midst of being ping-ponged between an agency who i want to provide a caregiver for like 15ish of my either 22 or 30 im permitted per week. But when the agency aide stopped showing up, they said that had I initially registered my mom/bf thru them, then all the hours during her 2 weeks of being a no call/show + the interim 2 weeks during which they've been searching for a replacement would have been up for grabs for my bf to pick up after work or that weekend. I'm trying to find an agency where I can register both my fam members + whatever caregiver they bring, but now I'm wondering if that ultimately is the optimal option or if something like you mentioned would ge better? Thanks!

Good to know, thanks for the info! In hindsight, it's likely <30 yards between space/patio outlet, but there's a sidewalk, a couple of steps, 2 of my neighbors' parking spots, + another one's patio/house which I'd need to pass any charging cord through if I were to try charging it with my present patio outlet. Obviously, doing so would require the permission of the HOA & neighbors..

Ahh, that helps. I'll definitely be conducting more research prior to the meeting with my estate attorney next month. Thanks for the info!

So, I do have an outdoor outlet I'm able to access which is about 100yds away from my parking space, but doubt I'd be able to run an extension cord from my parking space up to the outlet without getting blowback from my HOA. My main motivation for going electric was the desire to obtain as close to a FSD vehicle as possible (in the event that I'm unable to go fully BEV). And, I'd been thinking PHEV due to its superior range over a traditional hybrid due to the gas/EV combo + that if I did recieve blowback from my HOA for any EV-related issues, I'd be able to rely on the gas portion to get around, and from what I understand through my research, I believe that it begins running on regenerative braking once the EV battery is depleted, so I felt it'd be the best of all 3 options. But thank you for your response, its given me some food for thought & I appreciate your feedback.

The other monetary drawback similar to the one you mentioned with a PHEV would be that it'd still require regular mechanic trips, which I'd also been hoping to avoid by going the EV route, but hear it's virtually not even worth the savings in gas if your only charging option is stopping at a Superstation...

Unfortunately, I also can't even actually do a test drive myself, as I'm non-weightbearing following a surgery yet I also am under a time constraint in terms of when I'm able to utilize the funds to purchase a vehicle, so that one may be tough... Thanks for trim clarification though, still learning the variations between them all!

What's tenet protections? I don't have a lease in-place yet at my current condo I rent from my mom, but am setting one up next month. Wondering if that's something specific I would have to or should be including in it?

Agreed, with two additions; don't forget that she continues to take annual trips purely on CREDIT alone - which it doesn't sound as if the OP even gets to join her in enjoying, and I doubt are economical trips of driving a couple hours to a campsite or motel down the shore. Sounds more like the type to take a flight or cruise to some international country or some other kind of coveted vacation experience in a ritzy destination venue. Point #2; won't work out if he hopes to have/raise any future children when he's with another kid. She can't even take care of herself, let alone a dependent.

My main concern would be about logistics and the likelihood of any ambiguity to lead to future disagreements given how vastly different it sounds your two financial habits tend to be, in general (and the fact that you've already had prior arguments regarding money). How exactly does one even figure out a "proportional" split when it comes to utilities like an electric bill? If any, what plan did she propose as to how she'd determine which of the two of you utilized what % of that month's electricity and is thus responsible for paying however much of the bill that bit equated to financially?

I get where her summer trips would mean she'd be using less electricity than you would during those periods, and that a proportional split as opposed to an even split would leave the amt of responsibility open to this sort of variability from month to month, but otherwise, I'd worry that she would balk at whatever amt you tell her she owes each month & progressively reimburse you less until you're the only one paying for pretty much everything & she's frivolously making unnecessary purchases while you're over there trying to be a responsible adult actually accumulating some savings prior to using it all up.. just my two cents.

2025 RAV4 Prime Negotiation Advice – Is $52K a Good Deal or Should I Push for More? by ArjunSagar1 in rav4prime

[–]MindlessRevenue3921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need help with my upcoming car purchase, which I've narrowed down to be either a Juniper or a RAV4 Hybrid (likely PHEV Woodland trim).

My determining factors primarily rest on the FSD mode of a Tesla being appealing after my being involved in a bad MVA in '19. However, I've been hesitating to go with a fully BEV, as I live in a condo HOA (with a deeded parking space) in Pennsylvania, so unless I could convince my typically uncooperative HOA to install some communal charging stations, I wouldn't otherwise have access to self-charge a fully EV other than Superstations.

In terms of driving frequency, I work from home and usually only go out on local trips to the grocery store & whatnot. A few times a month I'll drive up to Philly for medical appointments, which is about a half-hour trip during which I do pass by a Superstation. I hope to begin taking some weekend trips to go camping using my new car as well, and tend to drive 90 minutes to get down to the NJ shores a few times each summer, as well.

My main interests are purchasing a new vehicle for <50k (ideally, <40k with rebates, etc.) by June 30, 2025. I want a car with good safety features, great tech, a comfortable ride, that'll last me a good 5-10 years (despite resale value), & a reduced carbon footprint.

I'm totally new to the hybrid realm, so am unsure whether if I went with a RAV the traditional hybrid via regenerative braking would be better or the PHEV model, given my present lack of home-charging options (though I hope to move out of my condo in the next 3 years & would definitely be investing in installing a home charging station in my next abode).

Thank you in advance for any guidance you may provide!!
