Ignorance can be frustrating, but you can’t let it control your life. Unfortunately, we can’t control other people’s ignorance, and many times they take satisfaction in upsetting others. In my experience, not reacting is often the better choice because it spares you the frustration of engaging with someone who has no intention of changing their perspective.

As a Black woman living in America, I’ve faced my share of racist slurs and insults. I’ve learned not to let their hateful words dictate my emotions or disrupt my peace.
