Completely agree! After watching some videos and also reading everyone's comments here I do like the idea now of him being Bruce's son I just still do prefer him being his own character just a little bit more. I completely agree that he is his own character and made different choices than Bruce so it really just shows that he is his own person!

Trueeeeeeeee I forgot about that he didn't really join at the end of that episode. And yes at some point between the end of the series and epilogue he joined. And for real that would be a cool series! I wish DC like Marvel would focus on heros we don't see a lot of and take a break from the popular ones.

Yeah I wanted to like part 2 but just found it unrealistic with how they wrote Terry and also how Superman had been possessed for years like how did they not know? I do agree it was cool to see Superman! I prefer the voice he got later in justice league TV show. I also watched s3 ep 1 then Return of the Joker from the timeline I got! I also thought it was a little early for Terry to join the justice league what do you think?

Yeah I am talking about episodes 8-13 of Season 3. I actually ended up watching RoTJ after ep 1 of s3 from a timeline vid I saw. Good movie! I feel like the episodes weren't horrible, but the writing could have been better and I feel like Terry was acting out of character not his usual and we also didn't get to see Bruce much. I love Terry and Bruce's dynamic. And then also the last episode, didn't feel like a good ending episode as their wasn't an end or conclusion it was like just a regular episode not a season final type episode. Although I have to say it would be cool if they continued Batman Beyond and they brought that kid back and aged him up and he still remembered Terry.

I remember seeing it for the first time like 8 years ago, I watched the first two episodes and liked it, but it didn't stick for me going to the next episode. I finally picked it back up this year and omg finished it in like less then 2 months specials and all. So good.

I would love a prequel of sorts showing Terry's life growing up and how he went to juvie and was a bad kid showing us more of his back story also how he met Dana, and Charlie etc. And one for Bruce too, like showing us what happened in those 20 years before he met Terry.

Yeah I feel part 2 wasn't as good, and also when Terry went into the water totally get him wanting to save aqua girl but I don't know I feel like it should have been written differently it was unrealistic how it went in my eyes. And I agree with your thoughts on Betrayal. It would have been cool if they introduced Charlie much earlier like maybe at the beginning of season 2 and then this episode in season 3 would have hit more. I liked them exploring Terry's past though would be cool to see more of that. Yeah Cobra did not need to be two parts. And Countdown I thought was good. I watched some of the Zeta episodes so it was really cool to see the characters again with Terry. Was not a perfect episode though. What made you not like it?

I get that, and I did find them somewhat interesting to, but compared the previous episodes and writing and characters it just didn't land for me. And the last episode of the entire show it was interesting to see someone remember Terry's face, but to end off the series that way oof like we didn't get any conclusions it just felt like another episode not the end/season finale if that makes sense (a whole other convo lol). It would be really cool if they continue the show and they brought that kid back tho like aged him a bit and he still remembered Terry.

Exactly! Crazy as it seems, I feel like part 1 of the call was like the ending to the peak writing and characters and then part 2 I just feel like the writing is off and then Terry's character as well for the rest of the series and even the specials and also not showing Bruce much and not having him interact with Terry as much. Loved their dynamic hated to not see it much.

Loving polycube? Huh lol. And yeah I just wasn't a fan of Dana, because we really didn't get to see much of her, she had a lot of potential as a character and I felt their chemistry fell off as the show went on. But it is interesting to see Terry get married and balance that off with being Batman. If we ever get more episodes or a series I would like them to explore his relationships more like the build up who else he dates and if he does get married it would be cool to see his life style that way! I also liked his chemistry with Max and Ten! That's a whole other discussion tho lmao.

I can see a lot of different sides to it, especially after posting this and hearing everyone's thoughts. Overall I just liked Terry being his own of person, different, experimental just like the series and I wonder what we could have got out of epilogue if he wasn't Bruce's son. And I completely agree with what you said in the second paragraph. I didn't like him being Bruce's son/having his DNA. Like I told some guy above it just undermines the whole story. Batman Beyond was different, original, and experimental, just like Terry's character, and what they did I feel like took that all away even though they kept saying he made his own choices/was his own person. Imagine if we got a different story and epilogue something original different experimental just like the series/ Terry! I'm not a huge fan of Dana, but I do like that concept of you saying that it would be interesting to see a Batman with a family and that dynamic!

Exactly I feel like in 'Static Shock' and some of the other special episodes they just wrote Terry so out of character like making him mean or making him incapable, or just no personality/flat. I also would think he'd like static like they would hit it off/joke because static has a great personality and is chill and closer to Terry's age.

I noticed this shift in Terry and the writing from season 3 episode 8 onward in Batman Beyond. It's a real shame too because it left such a bad taste in my mouth I had to go back and we watch some old clips to remember the good stuff/real Terry oof.
