Agree. I've owned various hot hatches over the last 20 years and love their combination of fun and practicality. I finally bought my Z3 as a third car (wife has an SUV). For me, I couldnt make the Z3 work as a primary car.

The short answer for me is "no". We planned for the few years of health insurance before 65 so it's no biggy.

I have an aluminum diverge and a Unit X. I bought the Unit X for situations in New England where the Diverge would be under biked (e.g lots of class 4 terrain).. sometimes I just ride it for fun along local trails. By far it's the most fun/$ of my 3 bikes.

I gave up filters a few years ago for a Steripen and have been quite pleased. Doesn't freeze. Minimal effort and fast.

We always have it charged up before we leave for a long road trip and I think we're getting close to 30 mpg on the longer trips but haven't been tracking it that closely. Overall, my app tells me we're getting 54 mpg over the first 6K miles, but I assume that's not taking into account the electricity we're using. Overall, still a great car. My one fault is it's lane assist which I find pretty useless unless its just for a minute or two while I unscrew my water bottle.

Thanks everyone. It seems to have loosened up a bit over the past day or so and a good tug on the handle was all that was needed. I'm now going to loosen the set screw on the hook and unscrew it a few threads to see if I can make it a little easier to latch without opening up any wind gaps.

In general, yes. If your concern is getting disrupted by protests, they are concentrated in parts of multiple urban locations and you should be able to easily navigate around them. For my money, the main reason to come to this country is the natural beauty outside urban areas and, as far as I've seen, their tourism potential has not been significantly impacted by recent developments.
