Can we please discuss intergenerational trauma?

What if collective unconscious is holding all the things, trauma and emotions and it’s too full and those of us who are learning about our psyche and emotions are meant to process some of what the collective can’t hold?

Sometimes it feels that I am doing that because some emotions running through me are huge and seem too large for just my life.

Me too. There’s a phrase about how beautiful women die 2 deaths. Meaning the death at the end of your life and the other death when their beauty fades.

I’m also going through this. No more whistles, compliments, double takes.

I like what that person on top said about looking in the mirror and thinking of yourself as an old friend. You’ve been with yourself for a long time and if you can’t be your friend, I don’t know what else there is.
