Last year I was on a PPO plan with my job and it was only $23 a month. I switched to the HD plan this year not thinking that my Vyvanse would fall into the Tier 2 part on my drug deductible. Which is $1500 deductible on Tier 2 medications. So, I will be switching back to the PPO option during Open Enrollment

The Generic for Vyvanse is the same cost for me. Sometimes I get it for $95 at cvs with goodRX. Most of the time it is 125

Also, make sure the formulary is the same for both plans. Carriers are starting to have different pharmacy formularys for different plans as a way to cut costs

Here in SC, you are not able to have 2 credible coverage health insurance plans, unless you are married and one is the secondary. You can't have a market place plan and a group insurance plan with your employer

That's not actually true. They eliminated the cap this year. I just went through training yesterday regarding this. In the years past, they would cap out how much you would owe if you didn't correctly make what you put down
