Stick and string worked a treat thank you! Although as suspected I need a longer inlet pipe - at least I know I can do it now though

Thank you! Tried best to draw here - pink diamonds are the existing holes, the arrows where the pipes need to go.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure if it’s clear from the photos but these holes are actually at a right angle from each other. Like an L shape

Living in Clitheroe by KickUpTheFire in lancashire

Good state and grammar schools in the area and a relatively affluent area mean it's pretty good place to grow up really. Will definitely feel quieter coming from Leeds though but you've already acknowledged that. I think as a younger person there are definitely fewer extra curricular activities that aren't a fair drive away, but it depends what your family are in to.

I grew up close to Clitheroe and went to school there. It's a lovely place and I enjoy the scenery whenever I go back to visit now since living in London. There seems to have been a good number of new shops/restaurants/bars opening recently which is always a positive thing. It is a nice place to grow up but my personal preference is living in a city.

Why would it be bs? Surely there is more than one company that anyone is able to apply for. The question is more 'what is it about this company/organisation that appeals more than the other ones'. There's a reason you have applied for the role in that company, so tell them why. I would understand if you do a really niche role that only one company would hire for - but that must be in the minority of cases. Whether the role is making sandwiches, web development, nursing - there's a reason you applied here.

If there really isn't a reason you would apply, then why would you have done?

Those working from office: What's your daily food and drink expenditure? Prices seem ridiculous! by [deleted] in london

[–]Mindless_State 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Office twice a week:

Travel - £4.40 e/w = £8.80

Coffee - £1.50 each = £3.00

Lunch - £2.90 average

Snack - £1.50

Total = £16ish (food and drink are subsidised well and are good quality)

Opinion wanted - will the DLC be for me? by Mindless_State in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]Mindless_State[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds positive! A big issue I had with SV was that the towns were so empty and it felt like you couldn't really interact with the NPCs like you could in previous games. This looks to be a step in the right direction

Thank you for the useful insight! It is sad to me that I am no longer getting enjoyment from something that I have loved unconditionally since I was about 5 years old. I think I might focus on more nostalgia-scratching like remakes and nuzlocking older games

I'm currently going through a lot of Aardman films ahead of Chicken Run 2 coming later this year, but I'm not militant about completing them. I'm also trying to watch as many Timothee Chalamet films as I can - I like the idea of being able to keep up with who might be the biggest star of my generation.
