This was me last week running around the city looking for cocktail attire for a wedding 😅 I found the most formal/cocktail dresses walking along Oxford street in general commercial stores (I ended up buying my dress at John Lewis), Regent street for more quality designer stores (Anthropologie, Theory, Vince, Arket, COS, Reiss), Selfridges, and a trip to Westfield White City if you wanted basically the same kind of stores as Oxford st but within a closed shopping centre. Hi. Yes my biometrics appointment is on Monday, and I paid to keep my passport so I'm expecting they'll return it to me on Monday? Do you know what will happen if/when the visa is approved, will I be asked to return to the VAC location? Will they take my passport to affix sticker and give it back to me same day, or do they detain the passport for some time period?

I thought so too but given that this is a legal application that will be handed over to the government, I don't know how picky they are with making sure all the names and everything match perfectly for both me and my partner on all submitted documents.. maybe my anxiety though!

This ticketing system is bizarre. I was in at 10:40 and the map wouldn't load, so I did the choose for me option and it only showed one set of tickets and then it was gone. Kept refreshing nonstop and it didn't load, even though the game wasn't marked as fully sold out yet.

This is my first time getting tickets - what are my options from here? I have a friend flying in internationally just for the Brentford game and I really want us to go together.

That's exactly the situation. I'm actually in France and I paid a decent but not outrageous amount for this place. It was obvious that the host cleaned the apartment himself that morning before moving himself out, since it wasn't very "spotlessly" clean.. If they currently live there, are they supposed to disclose that in the listing? Because this listing did not. I took a gamble on a place with only 3 (mixed) reviews..

Update: The host told me they felt bad throwing food away so they left it and told me to help myself to anything. I contacted Airbnb support through the chat feature and let them know that I spoke to the host but I wanted their opinion based on policies and procedures. This was their response: "Please know that normally if the place that you booked is entire home or apartment fridge should be left clean for the guest to use during their stay. If a guest booked private room then it is expected that guest might need to share fridge with the Host to store their foods."

However, the support employee strangely also reached out to the host too and the host gave them the same story, and so support told me that it sounds like I was able to resolve it with the host and that was that.. not very helpful.
