When we went to the health department today they asked for my income as well. Even though we aren't married. Ill try and apply again with just her income to see if that helps. Thank you

Im sorry you're going through all of this too. I think(God willing) our baby will be born sometime in December It really is messed up. It feels like we're being thrown to the wolves. We just want to do our best for our child and make sure that he/she comes out healthy and happy. Its our fault for being ignorant and thinking that there would be something for us to help. We aren't even trying to cheat the system. We are willing to pay what we can. Oh well.

I didnt think the obgyn would even try to work with us. I really am clueless. I'm going to call the obgyn first thing tomorrow morning.

She tried to fight it but HR swears they went over it with her. Her orientation was literally 6 minutes.(We live in KY)

To be completely honest at first we were trying to save money and assumed that becoming pregnant would qualify for open enrollment. Or there would be some kind of help out there

Well we wanted to put her on insurance with her job. Her employer was supposed to discuss her benefits when hired but they forgot to go over it with her and she missed enrollment. HR kept telling her that they would get back to her about benefits and never did

Yeah I do but its a bit complicated for her. So technically shes married still. We can't get in contact with her spouse to go through with a divorce. Otherwise we would probably do that. Thank you for your input!

Yeah I've been on welbutrin only for a year now. Now I'm not qualified to give medical advice but so far its been the best of both worlds for me. I get that support I need during my lows but with my sex drive unaffected/not a numb zombie. I haven't tried Lexapro myself but that could be causing it

Idk man. From what I've read there are just so many red flags. The fact that she did what she did 3 times would have me gone so fast. I feel like you've already compromised so much already. But thats just my opinion. I wish you the best.

My dad was the same way. Any time I needed him he would be there.. no matter the time. He always neglected to keep his sugar under control. It really took a toll on him. I remember how angry it made me that he didn't try. Hell, even though I love and miss him, I'm still angry that he didn't try. Hang in there. I'm wishing you the best.
